Request reason:

for the myth (film) case

  • the block is not necessary because the edit content was just follow the genuine order of the movie's story line, faithfully re-telling the main theme, better translation, reference provided, limner portrait graph stored, nothing original neither hypothesis.
  • the block reporte was send by the id "cold season", because disagreement when editing of term Zhou Rites (a term which have to utterly give up now i no longer wish to discuss). then the id "cold season" traced this username's edit history ("along the river during qingming festival", "shi tao" etc.) and deleted everything this username have ever contributed quite ignorantly.
  • to the myth film case again, the person who deleted the improvement might not even care to watch neither ever heard of the film at all, yet say the information was not correct just because argued to this username at another irrelevant term's edit. i will not edit more than once from now on even if the information is referenced well supported by evidence. yet this is pathetic misunderstanding hope can change.
  • truly i appreciate the wiki atmosphere, empathy the variation of everyone's value, point of view, understand legal rights. never meant to cause obscure neither confusion but only simply optimistic useful contributions have made and to be continue

Decline reason:

You're blocked for edit warring; none of this addresses that. --jpgordon::==( o ) 22:47, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You really need to stop editing the already declined unblock request. --jpgordon::==( o ) 00:48, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Giacometti

[edit]

I think that you misunderstand my edit. I deleted citations http://web.mac.com/tehart/Jurassic_Rants/Welcome_files/Dissertation_Introduction.pdf and http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1517552/pdf/calstatejmed00006-0041.pdf because they do not mention Giacometti at all, and so cannot be of any use in supporting your claim that Giacometti's sculptures have a meaningful relationship to the creatures Shaw describes. I did not delete http://www.jstor.org/pss/40400510 because I do not know whether it is relevant; I am not at a library computer today and cannot access the page.

Do you know of any scholarly source that comments on the similarity between the Shaw creatures and Giacometti's works? Do you know of an authority that says that Giacometti read Shaw and was influenced by him? These are the sources you should cite. But if a meaningful Shaw-Giacometti connection has not been described by historians, and if the similarity you perceive is your own original idea, then your observation is unsourced original research, which is never permitted in wikipedia.

I have left your paragraph in place to give you a chance to find a reference that mentions Shaw and Giacometti together, and that explains the significance of the similarity you describe. Ewulp (talk) 02:52, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
