December 2012[edit]

Hello, I'm Seaphoto. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Mary Sands without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, SeaphotoTalk 19:49, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • The page you are blanking is NOT your sandbox. It's already in article space. The page you wanted to blank is User:K828/sandbox; moving the page to article space caused the original page to be changed to a redirect; this is indicated at the top of the page by the text "redirected from ...". (See WP:REDIRECT and WP:MOVE for more information.) - Mike Rosoft (talk) 20:27, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. But that's what was coming up when I clicked on my sandbox, which was very confusing. It looks like it's fixed now. Thanks for your help.

Have a Bit of FUN[edit]

Hi, K828. An experienced editor, Pluma, created a page of FUN STUFF(<--click on it) for his adoptees. Creating your userpage is good editing practice. To see what others have done, just click on their username in their signature. Feel free to copy what you like for use in your page. Your user name will turn blue once you create your userpage. Thanks. Very interesting. I'll look into that. K828 (talk) 14:03, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A belated welcome![edit]

Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, K828. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! 220 of Borg 04:09, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
