I am writing because I do not understand what I can do prove "notability". My daughter prepared the draft because I am not sufficiently computer-literate do do so myself.

Among the various characteristics that are mentioned in the article she prepared, there are the following:

- Director of the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa from 1995-2001 (principal music academy in Portugal) - Director of the School of the Art of the University of Évora 2009-2017 - Resident conductor of the Orquestra Sinfónica Juvenil since 1984. - Recipient of an O.B.E., 2005 - Recipient of Medal of Cultural Merit (Portugal), 2004 ....among other things.

To this I now can add that a book on my compositions edited last year with articles by some of the top musicologists in Portugal.

I am at a loss to know what I should do be recognised as notable.

Please would you help/advise me?

In late 2017, you declined the draft for the article on B-Kool on the grounds that it was "not yet shown to meet notability guidelines". Regardless of whether you would credit him with a Juno win for 1991 (where it went to a group of which he was part), he did get a Juno nomination for solo work in 1994. This information was in the draft at the time you declined it.

Hi, It's Matthew Pinter, Chairman of CFIA, the Australian Crowdfunding Association.

It seems that my request for listing is not to standard for any number of reasons.

- Copywriter (i.e. duplicate content), which is not a breach as we own our content hand have simply used similar words to describe the organisation here. - Not for profit. Which is evidenced only by our constitution and the fact that we do not require lodgement of taxation returns. - Advertising. Which seems a very low hurdle. The listing is simply a collection of facts. Why would that be a concern? Why does Wiki list other peak bodies such as the CFIA (Canadian food industry association)?

I am a wiki novice, though happy to learn if you can assist me.

Vishay Precision Group article - improvements

Hi KGirl, thanks for your comment. Reaching out as seeking for some guidance, if possible. With creation of the declined article, I've took https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vishay_Intertechnology as reference, and tried to provide sources to prove that information is not promotional, but factual. Nature of company info is that it's hard to find that info on 3rd party sources. The article submit for review is the attempt to separate two 100% separate companies from each other and prevent confusion with people researching. Can you provide any further guidance on how to achieve this and improve?
