Happy New Year, Kailash29792[edit]

Sattam Oru Iruttara[edit]

Um, Kailash, I understand you're disappointed with the two move proposals failing, but trying to override the discussions unilaterally isn't the right thing to do. I'm advising you as a friend to step back and say WP:FUCK for a significant amount of time, because very soon people, possibly including unamused administrators, are going to accuse you of beating a WP:DEADHORSE. Ribbet32 (talk) 21:29, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

Ribbet32, thank you for the advice. One day I'm certainly gonna develop the article further, and use evidence that helped Thillu Mullu and Nenjathai Killathe's move discussions end victoriously, over here as well. But it is not this day. Kailash29792 (talk) 15:47, 6 February 2017 (UTC)
Yeah, moving pages against consensus using misleading edit summaries and adding unsourced stuff are "constructive" things. Vensatry (talk) 15:49, 7 February 2017 (UTC)

Singam II[edit]

What was the gross of the film?PhysicsScientist (talk) 14:04, 12 February 2017 (UTC)

Dunno. Search "singam III gross" in Google News. Kailash29792 (talk) 14:11, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
I asked the gross of the second film of the series.PhysicsScientist (talk) 14:22, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
I sent messages from another page (using "talk" at the end of your sign), not from your user page. I saw your edit summary after sending the second message. I am sorry for disturbing twice.PhysicsScientist (talk) 13:39, 14 February 2017 (UTC)
Do you know its gross? As per one source, it is ₹230 crores and it is ₹122 crores as per another source.PhysicsScientist (talk) 13:47, 14 February 2017 (UTC)
If you are unsure which is true, please cite them both, but attribute the sources (write something like, "A says the film grossed X, but B says the film grossed Y"). Read WP:BLINDMEN for more. Kailash29792 (talk) 13:55, 14 February 2017 (UTC)
Here are the sources.[1][2]
Nope. Both sources fail WP:RS. Kailash29792 (talk) 15:19, 14 February 2017 (UTC)
Here is an IBT source.[3]PhysicsScientist (talk) 16:11, 15 February 2017 (UTC)
When I try to edit the template Singam film series, it redirects to Don franchise. Could you help it?PhysicsScientist (talk) 15:07, 18 February 2017 (UTC)
Check if it works now. Kailash29792 (talk) 15:37, 18 February 2017 (UTC)

Discussion at Talk:Darth Vader#Appearances section[edit]

You are invited to join the discussion at Talk:Darth Vader#Appearances section. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 06:19, 16 February 2017 (UTC)

It has become a series of subsections. Under which one do I comment? Kailash29792 (talk) 06:20, 16 February 2017 (UTC)
Any subsection might be acceptable. You may post suggestions and ideas there. I've asked around to get some thoughts on improving it for a potential FA. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 13:58, 16 February 2017 (UTC)

Kamal Haasan filmography[edit]

I am about to begin my copy edit of your article Kamal Haasan filmography. Looking at it I could not help but notice a huge number of duplicate links to other Wikipedia articles in the tables. Generally the practice according to the WP Manual of style is:

"Duplicate linking in lists is permissible if it significantly aids the reader. This is most often the case when the list is presenting information that could just as aptly be formatted in a table, and is expected to be parsed for particular bits of data, not read from top to bottom. If the list is normal article prose that happens to be formatted as a list, treat it as normal article prose."

For example, my interpretation of this is that it would not "significantly aid a reader" to have "Tamil" linked every time it appears in a table. So I have gone through the first table and removed all but one of those links. I would propose to do the same thing for other languages as well as for directors etc... Before undertaking this, I wanted to make sure you agree with this approach.
