Hi Abie, and thanks for the welcome! I tip-toed into Wikipedia on impulse, but am much enjoying it and think I'll stay. I've set up my User page as a start, and will read the Wiki guidelines you've kindly sent me. BTW, are you my assigned (or adoptive) guide as a newbie here? Best, Kamchatka777 (talk) 06:11, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Kamchatka! No, I'm not assigned to you. I just saw that you were new so I thought I'd welcome you, though I am happy to serve as informal guide if you would ever like my opinion on something. I like some of the stuff you put on your user page, "hi-fi nirvana, brain science, history of ideas" - cool stuff. I think Wikipedia just got a tiny bit cooler because you joined. See you around.--Abie the Fish Peddler (talk) 07:36, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Abie - I hope I can contribute something, and I'm sure I'll be in touch again soon. Kamchatka777 (talk) 22:13, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
