License tagging for Image:Bipasha 2.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bipasha 2.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Hi Kernow. I originally deleted the article because it failed to assert notability. It also fails to meet our notability criteria for English football clubs, which is to have played at Step 6 of the pyramid or in the FA Cup or FA Vase.

Regarding the copyright issue, large sections of the text were cut and pasted from the club's website which is not allowed unless the website from which it is taken specifically forgoes its right to the copyright.

Also, as you are involved in the club, I suggest you read WP:COI, a policy which discourages people from editing articles on subjects with which they aer specifically involved.

Your contributions to Wikipedia are more than welcome, but please try to ensure that the topics on which you write meet the basic notability criteria. You might also want to join WP:FOOTY or WP:NLF. Cheers, пﮟოьεԻ 5 7 08:05, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
