January 2013[edit]

Thank you for your edit to the disambiguation page PPG. However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation do's and don'ts, you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, which should not end with punctuation
  • Use only one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry, and avoid red links
  • Do not pipe links—keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links

Thank you. Dawnseeker2000 04:06, 23 January 2013 (UTC)

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Business with this edit. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate may links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 05:14, 23 January 2013 (UTC)

April 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm Faizan Al-Badri. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to EBay, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Faizan(talk) 12:49, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to World Business Report. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Logical Cowboy (talk) 06:58, 21 April 2013 (UTC)

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Business World News. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Logical Cowboy (talk) 06:59, 21 April 2013 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising, as you did at Providence Business News, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Logical Cowboy (talk) 07:00, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
