Speedy deletion nomination of Walungs[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Walungs requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Proposed deletion of Guphapokhari[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Guphapokhari has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

It's a POND. Come on... Non-notable, no references provided

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Kailashnath Mahadev Statue[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kailashnath Mahadev Statue requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Agent 78787 talk contribs 05:06, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Khadga Prasad Oli[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Khadga Prasad Oli has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Community Forestry in Nepal[edit]

Hello Krish, I took a look at your wikipedia contributions. Considering the fact that you have edited/created many botany related articles, perhaps you might want to work on an article regarding community forestry practice in Nepal. There is a small paragraph in Nepal article and Nepal is also mentioned in Community forestry article. I wanted to write it myself, but I lack the required expertise in that field. So I am asking you. It would a great service!! (Manoguru (talk) 09:00, 12 April 2013 (UTC))

Please be careful when adding categories[edit]

You recently added taxonomic categories to several articles that were unnecessary. For example:

There are several others I noticed. Plants should only be categorized (taxonomically) in their lowest available category, usually the genus category. They should not be included in both the genus and family categories - this represents overcategorization. Please go back and review all of your recent contributions for this error and fix it. And do watch out for it in the future. Thanks, Rkitko (talk) 14:22, 20 April 2013 (UTC)

Hello, again. It's not clear to me that you understood my message above as you're still making edits to categories that are increasing the amount of chaos and disorder in our category system for plant species and genera. For example, when you created and then added Category:Argemone to the species articles, you neglected to remove the relevant parent category, Category:Papaveraceae. Thus these articles would be double categorized in this hierarchy in both their genus category and their family category, unnecessarily leaving the article categorized in a higher level taxonomic category than it needs to be. When available, the most specific taxonomic category should be used only (sometimes this is the genus category, other times it's a subfamily or tribe category).
Another note: When creating new categories, there is no specific number of how many article it should likely immediately contain, but it should be useful for navigation. Your recent category, Category:Crateva, only contained one article and could have only contained a maximum of three at the time. Many more articles would have been needed to be created before this category could be useful. I typically look at it this way - if a family category is currently easy to browse and navigate, subcategorization of small genera or poorly represented genera on Wikipedia may not be necessary at this time, otherwise I aim for around 10 articles or so when creating a new category. Please take this information under advisement as you continue to edit and feel free to ask me any questions. If you're going to be doing a lot of category edits, I'd rather you be adding quality contributions and not creating situations in which others have to clean up after you. Thanks, Rkitko (talk) 03:56, 21 April 2013 (UTC)

Category - Birds of Nepal[edit]

Hi Krish, I notice that you add these categories to many birds. The best use for categories of this kind is to apply them to species endemic or otherwise specific. There are any number of geographical entities that can be defined and there are species that are widespread and the result is that too many categories are added. Additionally there is no way to verify if the category is correct whereas if you use a list article such as List of birds of Nepal, each entry can have a reference providing evidence for their presence. Categories for birds are routinely deleted and they tend to be inappropriately used too often and I would encourage you to put more energy into the list article instead. You are also welcome to join WP:BIRD. Shyamal (talk) 15:41, 5 October 2013 (UTC)

The mysteries of templates at Wikipedia[edit]

While checking on some other edits, I happened to notice your edit to article Urinary_tract_infection. I was intrigued, because while much of what I do here is spelling corrections, this looked like an unlikely misspelling *and* it was in a use of one of the mysterious templates here, {{cite journal | ... }}. So I looked around and found that 'vauthors' is actually a valid keyword in that template. Go to Template:Cite journal and find 'vauthors'.

You may know more about templates at WP than I do. Did you mean to change away from the Vancouver system citation style? Shenme (talk) 04:46, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
