Non-free rationale for File:Will Jackson Wentworth.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Will Jackson Wentworth.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. File source problem with File:Bea Smith Wentworth.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Bea Smith Wentworth.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Wentworth[edit]

Hello there. I think it is great that you want to create content for Wentworth. But I am concerned about the rate that you are creating new articles linked with the show. The problem with the articles currently existing is that they are really lacking. Years ago articles related to the Australian soap opera Home and Away were grouped together in mass AFDs and the community voted to delete and ban the topics. The current Wentworth articles resemble those. Perhaps character such as Kaz, Allie, Brayden and Bridget should be redirected for the time being?Rain the 1 13:51, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thanks for your opinions. Brayden maybe could be moved but currently I feel that once the current season is over that Allie, Kaz and Bridget could have more character reception. Given that the last episode in Australia was about Kaz I believe there should be some great reception for her. Could I have a bit of time to expand the three characters? For the other character articles would you be able to locate free images for them as I've seen your images for other articles. Many thanks. Kwilliams100 (talk) 17:43, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I cannot control the articles so you have all the time you need. I do not want to see them at articles for deletion. I agree that Kaz and Allie have potential to become more notable. But in future it could be better to wait. You are trying your best and that is what counts. There are some new photographs of the cast of Wentworth from the 2016 Logie awards that a lady took and kindly added them to Wikimedia Commons so they will come in use as articles are expanded.
Another suggestion for the articles and which may help with editing. When you cite episodes it is expected that you a widely used template. This is here: <ref>{{Cite episode |title=|episodelink=|series=|credits= (director), (writer)|network=|station=|airdate=|seriesno=|number=}}</ref>
So instead of "Episode 35: First Blood" it should be: "Kevin Carlin (director), John Ridley (writer) (10 May 2016). "First Blood". Wentworth. Episode 1. Foxtel. SoHo (Australian TV channel). {{cite episode}}: Unknown parameter |episodelink= ignored (|episode-link= suggested) (help); Unknown parameter |seriesno= ignored (|series-number= suggested) (help)"
<ref>{{Cite episode |title=First Blood|episodelink=First Blood (Wentworth)|series=Wentworth|credits=Kevin Carlin (director), John Ridley (writer)|network=Foxtel|station=SoHo (Australian TV channel)|airdate=10 May 2016|seriesno=4|number=1}}</ref>
Then if you want to link to a specific episode without an article it is: Poking Spiders which is [[Wentworth_(season_4)#Episodes|Poking Spiders]]Rain the 1 19:34, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Raintheone:, Thanks for the advice. I will update the episode refs ASAP. I was working offline on articles for Vera, Liz, Doreen and Erica, would you think they are notable? Again thanks for all your advice.Kwilliams100 (talk) 22:58, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Great, it will make the articles reference sections look tidy. I do not think Erica will be. Something that could be included in all articles is how they relate the relevant characters from the original series. I'm sure the actors have compared their versions of the characters in interviews.Rain the 1 23:23, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Raintheone: I have just been through my offline list of articles I want to create for Wentworth, I have been thinking of doing work for the following episodes, "The Velvet Curtain", "Checkmate", "Born Again", "The Danger Within", "The Governor's Pleasure", "Blood and Fire" and "Prisoner" and a page for Fletch, but I will expand the other stuff first. Once I've completed expansions, I will work on those episode pages. Do you think there is any other notable characters I have left out?Kwilliams100 (talk) 00:19, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the delay. I just tend to focus on one at a time now. I think if there are enough sources for those articles then that is fine. Thank you for the compliment on the Holby episode article. I think 20 sources and the content provided was just about enough to ensure it passes WP:GNG. I would have liked more information on the episode though. So that could be a slight example - if you cannot match it or more with those episodes of Wentworth you mentioned, personally I would leave it and concentrate on those with potential. That is not to say in the future they will not become more notable though. I understand it is being aired in the USA on Netflix so there is more potential for extra sources I guess.Rain the 1 15:56, 11 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Kwilliams100. Did you make the request to AP to move the articles Cal & Ethan?Rain the 1 14:31, 25 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings @Raintheone:, I did not make a request, I have only been online in the last couple hours as I took a sleep in. Sorry I can't help. If you do have a couple of moments, an IP has added nicknames to Allie's page and Bea's what they had used when they were in the slot when having a how do you say rap-battle, should the nicknames stay in the infobox or be removed? Many Thanks--Kwilliams100 (talk) 15:35, 25 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I thought it was you because you added Cal and Ethan to the navbox. They have no account so I cannot thank them for helping with the page move. Oh well. As for those nicknames - Remove all in-universe nicknames like that unless they can be sourced. Those I have seen should not be there. Joan, Vera, Sue etc have well known nicknames not just characters in the show call them.Rain the 1 17:54, 25 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Raintheone: I have started a bit of work on Vera (see User:Kwilliams100/sandbox/Vera), if you have anything you'd like to add it would be greatly appreciated. I hope to take a couple weeks to work this article and re-watch Wentworth for the storyline details.--Kwilliams100 (talk) 12:07, 26 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It is good that you are developing the article first. I will keep watch of it as you expand the content. I can always add something later. One thing and it is some of the best advice I ever had on here - write the lead section last because it is supposed to reflect the article. I used to try and write it first too.Rain the 1 23:54, 27 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hello @Raintheone:, thanks for the advice, I have always wrote the lead first, for this article I will keep it until I write about those major storylines and then I will do something with it. Also I managed to get reception for the first episode which I added to the article. I am wondering, do you have any sources for Vera's casting as I am finding it hard to find any. Many Thanks.Kwilliams100 (talk) 08:52, 28 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Plus, have you seen anything about "Ballie", (Bea and Allie) as I have noticed it a lot on social media and if I could get proper sources about it that would be good for reception. Thanks again.Kwilliams100 (talk) 08:55, 28 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, i will see what i can find for Vera and "Ballie".Rain the 1 21:26, 28 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
