List of full budget downloadable PlayStation 4 games[edit]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of List of full budget downloadable PlayStation 4 games, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: List of full budget downloadable PlayStation 3 games. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 02:15, 24 July 2014 (UTC)

Re: Template:Gangan Joker[edit]

Hello, I'm here to discuss the usefulness of this template. I'm aware that other, similar templates currently exist for currently running series in magazines, such as {{Series in Weekly Shōnen Jump}} and {{Series in Hana to Yume}} (as well as 7 others), but a template of this nature for series that simply appeared in a magazine are rare (the only examples I can think of are the {{Weekly Shōnen Jump - 1968–1979}} family, and that's only for the most notable series for those years). So before you might have been thinking about doing similar templates for Gangan Comics magazines, I would ask that you reconsider the usefulness of the template in its current form, and if perhaps we can't reshape it to be more in line with the first two templates I linked. However, since there appears to only be 3 or 4 series that are currently still being serialized in the magazine that have articles, it may be better to simply delete the template and go with a category instead. I apologize, I didn't notice at first that the templates had already been created by another editor last year. However, I still think that navboxes such as this and {{Comic Flapper}} may not be necessary, and that a category may be a better way to organize all the series that were serialized in these magazines, such as with Category:Dengeki Daioh. Just {{ping}} me here so we can keep the discussion in one place.-- 10:51, 4 February 2015 (UTC)

PlayStation 4 game lists[edit]

We appear to have a number of overlapping PlayStation 4 game list articles:

1. List of PlayStation 4 games
2a. List of full budget downloadable PlayStation 4 games
2b. List of downloadable PlayStation 4 network games

As these pages are going to get longer each year, perhaps it would be a good idea to employ a multipage template (e.g. List of places in Alaska (A)) and combine full budget and indie games on the same page? It would look something like this: List of PlayStation 4 games (A).

List of download only Playstation 4 problems.[edit]

Hey I've noticed the several of the titles on this list are either not true (Minecraft, Helldivers) or seem speculative (I Am Bread, Dragon Fin Soup) It's worth noting that just because it's a relatively small game doesn't mean it's going to be download only as we've seen several examples of video games this generation of small indie titles getting retail releases. --Deathawk (talk) 21:26, 2 October 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Edits regarding TLOZ[edit]

Hi,

Since you seem new, in this edit I appreciate the change of "2016 video game" to "upcoming video game". However, changing "1986 video game" to "video game" is, for the most part, inappropriate, per WP:REDIRECT. --Izno (talk) 14:56, 14 December 2015 (UTC)

Manga volumes[edit]

Hey, Landingdude13. There's been a good you are great editor to keep the released volumes of manga updated. However, as far I as remember, you always do only this. Nothing wrong with the edit itself but as long as the prose says "as of November 6, 2015, four volumes have been released" you could have updated it too, right? Sometimes you do update the prose ([1], [2]) but in both cases you do something equally troubling: you update the text but not the source. And this is especially complicated because it makes the article violate WP:V. If possible, you when you update a manga article, you could update infobox, prose, and references - and then you have a complete job. You're not obligated to, I know, and I don't want you to take it as an offense or something like that... it's just a tip as it would be good if you do it to keep the articles in a better state. Cheers, Gabriel Yuji (talk) 04:13, 7 January 2016 (UTC)

Edit summaries[edit]

Hi please start using edit summaries so editors can tell at a glance what changes you made to an article without having to look at the diff. This would be very helpful, especially because you appear in my watchlist a lot and I can't tell if these edits are routine maintenance or something significant. Merger between Template:Trigger and my upcoming template[edit]

Hello, I'm Landingdude13. I noticed you create a template about an anime studio Trigger, I'm a little impress.

We all know that Trigger is part of Ultra Super Pictures right?, and I was wondering that I gotta show you something, my upcoming template about Ultra Super Pictures (it's not created yet, unless you agreed).

Initial visibility

To set the template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used:

  • |state=collapsed: {{Landingdude13|state=collapsed}} to show the template collapsed, i.e., hidden apart from its title bar
  • |state=expanded: {{Landingdude13|state=expanded}} to show the template expanded, i.e., fully visible
  • |state=autocollapse: {{Landingdude13|state=autocollapse}}
    • shows the template collapsed to the title bar if there is a {{navbar}}, a {{sidebar}}, or some other table on the page with the collapsible attribute
    • shows the template in its expanded state if there are no other collapsible items on the page

If the |state= parameter is not set, the template's initial visibility is taken from the |default= parameter in the template. For this template, that currently evaluates to autocollapse. Category:Anime and manga navigational boxes

If you like it, is it okay that I can redirect that template you created with mine or just get rid of it. It's your choice and also, my template is based on the Japanese template - ja:Template:ウルトラスーパーピクチャーズ. Landingdude13 14:50, 10 May 2016 (UTC)

Hello, have a problem in several articles and verbets of Wikipedia and Wiktionary in Portuguese, English and Spanish![edit]

Was be saying that comic strip, charge and cartoon are synonymous, when, in really, are different things!

Comic strip (tira cômica in Portuguese and tira cómica in Spanish): short duration comics, with the frames (which usually range from one to five, three being the most common) disposed and organized in the form of a strip, such as own name already implies and being or not humorous. The comic strip criticizes the values of society. There are three types of comic strips: daily strips (tiras diárias in Portuguese and tiras diarias in Spanish), usually printed in small quantities because of the pace of publication, in black and white (though some in color) and three some containing one to five), Sunday boards (pranchas dominicais in Portuguese and planchas dominicales in Spanish), usually printed in large quantities, in color (although some in black and white) and with a larger number of tables occupying a entire page and the yonkomas (yonkomas same in Portuguese and Spanish), of Japanese origin, with four vertical frames (although some in the horizontal) and who always deal with serious matters, but in a humorous form. Etymology: from the American English, comic strip, comic ribbon.

Charge (charge even in Portuguese and Spanish): short duration comics, usually occupying a single frame, containing a satire or message instead of a story and being humorous (although some with more than one frame, with stories and not being humorous). The cartoon criticizes people and things of the contemporaneity. Etymology: from the Franco-Belgian French, charger, burden or exaggeration.

Cartoon (cartón in Spanish and cartum in Portuguese): short duration comics, usually occupying a single frame, containing a satire or message instead of a story and being humorous (though some with more than one frame, with stories and not being humorous). The cartoon criticizes the situations of the day to day. Due to the similarities between the first animated short films and the cartoons printed and published at the time, the animated drawing name in English also refers to cartoon, in full, animated cartoon. The same thing happens in Italian and German, where the cartoon is called, respectively, cartone animato and animierte Cartoon. Etymology: from the British English, cartoon and these of the Italian, cartone, cartone, large piece of paper, sketch, study, draft or anteproject.

Here they here the articles and verbets for be revised in the respective idioms: https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tira_de_banda_desenhada, https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/charge, https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cartoon, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comic_strip, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Editorial_cartoon, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cartoon, https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tira_de_prensa, https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exageraci%C3%B3n_burlesca, https://pt.wiktionary.org/wiki/tira_cômica, https://pt.wiktionary.org/wiki/charge, https://pt.wiktionary.org/wiki/cartum, https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/comic_strip, https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/charge, https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/cartoon, https://es.wiktionary.org/wiki/tira_cómica, https://es.wiktionary.org/wiki/charge and https://es.wiktionary.org/wiki/cartón!

Including and principally, the certain is that the Wikipedia articles (described soon above!) should receive the following names in each idiom: Tira de banda desenhada, Charge and Cartum (desenho humorístico) - in Portuguese, Comic strip, Charge (humoristic drawing) and Cartoon - in English and Tira de historieta, Charge (dibujo humorístico) and Cartón (dibujo humorístico) - in Spanish!

Remembering and highlighting that the caricature has nothing to do with the other three because isn't a form of comic: is, simply, a humoristic exaggerated drawing of something or someone, be real or not, does not even have texts!

In fact, all my editions in this sense are already being reversed, I do not know why, since I understand a lot of comics, so I am a comic drawer, writer and scripter, so that I am no amateur and layman in the Whole subject, see it!

And well, as you can see, the cartoon isn't a type of comic strip, neither the charge is a type of cartoon, if possible, please, warn to your fellow editors to make the changes, very thanks since now for all attention and interest and a hug!

Mass edit of redirects[edit]

Hey, re: your recent mass edits removing "1986" from The Legend of Zelda (video game), please see the guideline on redirects that are not broken. There was no harm in leaving them as they were, especially as the page is likely to need further disambiguation again some day. I am no longer watching this pageping if you'd like a response czar 04:31, 4 May 2017 (UTC)

@Czar: I made the exact same comment at #Edits regarding TLOZ over a year ago, and someone a year ago before that. I am concerned about this user's behavior on this point, if we've got yet a third user commenting on this issue. --Izno (talk) 05:20, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
Landingdude, I recommend that you voluntarily abstain from these types of edits (mass changes of redirects) for the future, especially as you have opted to not acknowledge prior messages or otherwise explain yourself. If you do think a mass change is warranted, please first discuss it with other editors (if related to video games, at WT:VG). Is this an amicable solution? czar 05:51, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
Yeah, I got almost carried away since the upcoming video game is announced like years ago until it got a new title right now and well, let's just say that's a little bit concern. -- Landingdude13 20:00, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
So, I came here to inform you about WP:NOTBROKEN, only to see that it seems that you've been being warned about this for years? Is there something you're not understanding about the concept of NOTBROKEN? Because your recent changing of instances of Trails of Cold Steel to ''[[The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel|Trails of Cold Steel]]'' is the same sort of thing you've been asked to stop by multiple editors now. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Diamond Is Unbreakable, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Wikis are user-contributed, so they can't be used as sources for anything on Wikipedia. For this sort of thing, we need to know Araki's intent - basically, we need a direct statement from Araki or his company, Lucky Land Communications, saying that a character was named after so-and-so. This can sometimes be found in interviews or in the author notes in the manga volumes. I know there have been JoJo artbooks as well in Japan, but haven't purchased any - it's possible there is some information in them that can be used, too.--IDVtalk 08:12, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
I think this is what your looking for - [4] and you're right, it is possible to find them anyway unless it's on Amazon, eBay, or any Japanese store websites which is a possibility.--Landingdude13talk 08:33, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
I was thinking about these specifically, but unless you are fluent in Japanese, the information in the Viz-published JoJonium books is way more accessible.--IDVtalk 09:12, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
