Every authority I've read (including Trigger, Sioui, Warrick, etc.) all indicate the Wyandot didn't exist until after the Iroquois wiped out most of the Wendat in 1649 and forced a diaspora. Wyandot were derivative tribes made up of the Wendat and Petun nations. Therefore, suggest this record be revised and updated accordingly.
