Please kindly reinstate my article: Chartered Tax Practitioner & Certified Public Finance Accountants of Canada for further updates. — Preceding unsigned comment added by What'supCanada (talkcontribs) 07:23, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

Draft:Burma Rim, Oregon[edit]

Just an FYI. The issues involved are above my pay grade. FloridaArmy (talk) 19:36, 14 November 2018 (UTC)

User:RHaworth the referenced document in the deletion is highly technical and seems unlikely to be something one would copy an substantial text into a Wikipedia page from. Also, https://www.blm.gov is copyright free as a US federal gov creation. Can you take a closer look at the deletion please? Legacypac (talk) 21:39, 14 November 2018 (UTC)
  • User:RHaworth can the former article be restored as a draft? I couldn't find those contents in the document noted in the deletion and if the text is public domain I would like to use some of it in the new draft I've submitted Draft:Burma Rim. Thanks for your consideration. FloridaArmy (talk) 16:20, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
  • The duplication was not serious but there was some: dupdet report. But, as has been said, since it was on a .gov site, it was not copyvio. Text restored. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:36, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) I had to come and see what this was about given the last edit summary by User:RHaworth...I have to say I am throughly disappointed...this did not brighten up my grey Friday afternoon. --Dom from Paris (talk) 14:43, 16 November 2018 (UTC)

Draft:Benjamin Conner[edit]

Thanks for reviewing my Benjamin Conner and a making a very good point about the source requiring a login. I have added other references to substantiate the article. Sadly those relating to his career are page photographs of the membership books that have been uploaded to Ancestry. This is my first article so any pointers are very welcome. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bespinfugee (talkcontribs) 22:14, 14 November 2018 (UTC)

Sources behind a log in are ok, but other sources are better. Good luck. Legacypac (talk) 00:04, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
  • I don't see an assertion of notability pr the sourcing to support it. The dictionary source credits its very short entry to "Information provided by Will Jess of the Arlington Baths History group". Which is thee one building the article credits hin with designing. Request on 23:28:50, 14 November 2018 for assistance on AfC submission by Leigh Anthony[edit]

Dear Legacypac,

I have been communicating directly with artist Adelmo Guidarelli on the bio portion of the article. I am happy to make edits to those few sentences so that I am more in keeping with Wikipedia's guidelines. I am disappointed that you took it upon yourself to delete the entire article when only a few sentences in one section needed reworded. Can you please assist me by replacing my content so that I can continue to improve the submission?

Closure[edit]

Please understand, I'm not trying to beat a dead horse, nor am I arguing about the original closure – or anything else! I was learning some things from Hijiri 88 about referencing YouTube, and had asked a last question. Closure prevents him from replying.
Well, no big deal. Best. Sca (talk) 15:03, 15 November 2018 (UTC)

A good place to chat is his talkpage Legacypac (talk) 20:11, 15 November 2018 (UTC)

NPR Newsletter No.15 16 November 2018[edit]

Chart of the New Pages Patrol backlog for the past 6 months.

Wikipedia New page reviewer.svg

Hello Legacypac,

Community Wishlist Survey – NPP needs you – Vote NOW
  • Community Wishlist Voting takes place 16 to 30 November for the Page Curation and New Pages Feed improvements, and other software requests. The NPP community is hoping for a good turnout in support of the requests to Santa for the tools we need. This is very important as we have been asking the Foundation for these upgrades for 4 years.
If this proposal does not make it into the top ten, it is likely that the tools will be given no support at all for the foreseeable future. So please put in a vote today.
We are counting on significant support not only from our own ranks, but from everyone who is concerned with maintaining a Wikipedia that is free of vandalism, promotion, flagrant financial exploitation and other pollution.
With all 650 reviewers voting for these urgently needed improvements, our requests would be unlikely to fail. See also The Signpost Special report: 'NPP: This could be heaven or this could be hell for new users – and for the reviewers', and if you are not sure what the wish list is all about, take a sneak peek at an article in this month's upcoming issue of The Signpost which unfortunately due to staff holidays and an impending US holiday will probably not be published until after voting has closed.

Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Fred Bauder[edit]

You recently offered a statement in a request for arbitration. The Arbitration Committee has accepted that request for arbitration and an arbitration case has been opened at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Fred Bauder. Evidence that you wish the arbitrators to consider should be added to the evidence subpage, at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Fred Bauder/Evidence. Please add your evidence by November 27, 2018, which is when the evidence phase closes. You can also contribute to the case workshop subpage, Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Fred Bauder/Workshop. For a guide to the arbitration process, see Wikipedia:Arbitration/Guide to arbitration. For the Arbitration Committee, --Cameron11598 (Talk) 21:10, 16 November 2018 (UTC)

Draft: Wuzzuf[edit]

Very well, thanks very much for your help and advice, brother. I'll do my best. Also, for future reference, is there a way I can find what articles were deleted - and also can I see the article's history prior to deletion? Maverick821 (talk) 08:32, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

Yes but not sure how exactly. This info comes up in a tool we use to review drafts. Maybe some of my talkpage watchers know. Legacypac (talk) 08:38, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
