Lobeta, which parts of the hedgefund data do you think we should keep? To me there seems a lot of it and its mainly pretty old. Servalo (talk) 09:09, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your English looks fine to me!

The reason I removed those sections was that I don't think lists or directories of hedgefunds are really what the article should be about, eg see "Wikipedia is not a directory" on page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:What_Wikipedia_is_not#Wikipedia_is_not_a_directory

I also don't like the way they are very subjective (there is really no right or wrong way to decide who gets on the list) and that get quite close to advertising the publications they are taken from and the funds that are in them. What did you find useful about them? Would Google search work for people who want a list of hedgefund links? Is there some way we can keep what is useful but in a more compact form?

Thinking about language, I'm not sure how best to talk on Wikipedia, I haven't tried before. We could keep posting to each other's talk pages, but it might be better to post to the discussion page on hedgefunds so that other editors can join in, so I'll post something similar there.
