Disambiguation link notification for April 20[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Next 100 Years, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page New Cold War. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

January 2018[edit]

Hi. I notice that you have undone some edits of mine and posted to my talk page. I'm not sure what sources or discussion on the Iraq War talk page you are referencing when changing my edits. My changes in the introduction of the article ("U.S." to "US") are consistent with the Wikipedia Manual and make the article consistent in using abbreviations. The section of the talk page is in favor of using the "US" abbreviation, which is the one I have used in editing. You'll notice, the article currently has no consensus in using abbreviations for the United States.

Second, on the issue of posting the result in the infobox, I am basing the "US-Coalition Victory" on other Wikipedia articles and the fact that Iraq was liberated by coalition forces and had a strong decrease in insurgent violence. Iraq held free elections before US withdrawal and was in full control of its territory. The removal of US forces did lead to the rise of ISIS, but that is a separate issue from the 2003-11 conflict.

Thank you for your concern, and let's try to reach a consensus on this issue.

Thanks,

I replied about the results on the Iraq War page. Other Wikipedia articles cannot be cited as sources. Also, there are around 280 uses of "U.S." in the article, all of which would have to be changed. Lucasjohansson (talk) 20:31, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for January 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Greco-Italian War, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kingdom of Albania (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
