Proposed deletion of GI Partners[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article GI Partners has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

doesn't appear to be notable. Only one off-hand mention in a newspaper article mentioning it bought a winery

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. edit[edit]

Hi. I apologise for my edit on Angel of Retribution.

I intended to change "13th studio album" to "15th studio album" because it was inaccurate. (I know because I am a fan of Judas Priest).

The reason why I deleted the rest of it was because I found ithard to edit using touch screen, while everything else was in the way.

I've explained most of this in the "how I edited it" box. I'm sorry if I caused any disruption. And I will now always explain my edits.

In Regards to Miss India Australia page[edit]

Hi Luk,

Can you check who was the original creator is the page. I had created that page originally and the content changed overnight which is absolutely wrong. How can we follow up as the whole content has been changed and absolutely different information has been uploaded.

@Reenakoak: Everyone can check a page's history and list of contributors! You can check it by clicking on the History tab at the top of the page. Always remember that Wikipedia is a collaborative project and that eveyone is encouraged to improve all articles! Regards, -- Luk contrib 10:39, 23 March 2015 (UTC)

Adrien Pommier[edit]

Good Evening Luk,

My father was writing some information up about my grandfather Adrien Pommier, I'm taking over the Wiki Editing per the comments left on his page. I found the Bio Template and that is why I've changed the page.

Should I edit the template outside of Wiki or can I make changes to it directly on Wikipedia as I progress in filling out the template with information about him.

Thanks, Alex Pommier Quicksocial (talk) 00:45, 5 April 2015 (UTC)— Preceding unsigned comment added by Quicksocial (talkcontribs) 00:40, 5 April 2015 (UTC)

Dr Ken Michael AC HonFAIB; Dame Marie Bashir AD CVO HonFAIB; Lieutenant General, Professor Peter Leahy AC HonFAIB; and Sir John Holland AC HonFAIB[edit]

My (formal) name is Professor Robert Whittaker AM FAIB - I am the Immediate Past National President of the Australian Institute of Building - I can be contacted by mt email address Robert.Whittaker.AM@gmail.com, and my bona fides can be confirmed at http://www.aib.org.au/scripts/cgiip.exe/WService=AIB/ccms.r?pageid=20140 and at https://www.gg.gov.au/sites/default/files/files/honours/qb/qb2014/Media%20Notes%20-%20AM%20(M-Z).pdf

The Australian Institute of Building is one of only 8 national organisations in Australia incorporated by Royal Charter (as opposed to 186 or so organisations who have the 'Royal'prefix) - the others include the Australian Academy of Science, the Australian Academy of the Humanities, the Institution of Engineers Australia, the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, etc (though NOT the Royal Australian Institute of Architects, it is just one of the 186 with the 'Royal' prefix NOR Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering).

All four of the above (Dr Ken Michael AC [in 2012]; Dame Marie Bashir AD CVO [in 2012]; Lieutenant General, Professor Peter Leahy AC [in 2014]; and Sir John Holland AC [in 2007]) have been admitted as Honorary Fellows of the Institute - which is a rare honour - indeed, the Governor General of Australia on September 16th 2014 formally inducted Lieutenant General, Professor Peter Leahy AC as an Honorary Fellow on September 16th at Government House presenting Peter Leahy with his certificate which His Excellency Sir Peter Cosgrove personally signed himself. That doesn't happen with even the other 7 organisations with a Royal Charter. Further Australia's State Governors co-sign the 'Fellow'Certificates (which technically puts FAIB on a par with a QC and senior to an SC).

Now for some reason, all reference to Dr Ken Michael AC HonFAIB; Dame Marie Bashir AD CVO HonFAIB; Lieutenant General Peter Leahy AC HonFAIB, and Sir John Holland AC HonFAIB being Honorary Fellows of the AIB have been deleted.

Thankfully you haven't done that for Janet Holmes a'Court AC HonFAIB. James Service AO HonFAIB, Sir Laurence Street AC KCMG QC HonFAIB (though you didn't include his HonFAIB post nominal). Sir Eric Neal AC CVO HonFAIB or Robert McCredie May, Baron May of Oxford, OM, AC, FRS, FAA, FTSE, FRSN, HonFAIB, HonFREng.

COULD YOU PLEASE RESTORE THE 'HonFAIB' POST NOMINALS TO THE WIKIPEDIA PAGES FOR Dr Ken Michael AC HonFAIB; Dame Marie Bashir AD CVO HonFAIB; Lieutenant General Peter Leahy AC HonFAIB, Sir John Holland AC HonFAIB and Sir Laurence Street AC KCMG QC HonFAIB ASAP.

COULD YOU PLEASE RESTORE THE DESCRIPTIVE ENTRIES EXPLAINING THAT EACH WERE ACCORDED THE HONOR OF BECOMING AN HONORARY FELLOW OF THE AUSTRALIAN INSTITUTE O BUILDING (INCORPORATED BY ROYAL CHARTER) TO THE WIKIPEDIA PAGES FOR Dr Ken Michael AC HonFAIB; Dame Marie Bashir AD CVO HonFAIB; Lieutenant General Peter Leahy AC HonFAIB, Sir John Holland AC HonFAIB and Sir Laurence Street AC KCMG QC HonFAIB ASAP.

We can help with the entries if needed - but have a look at was deleted on Peter Leahy's webpage his contribution, like all the Honorary Fellows was quite significant.

Kind regards

List of Tour de France general classification winners[edit]

My edit to List of Tour de France general classification winners was neutral and correct. Please do not revert. Thank you. 2001:630:206:FFFF:0:0:3128:B (talk) 20:21, 11 April 2015 (UTC)

Meteorites[edit]

Hi Luk. Yes, it was me. Apparently this subject has been assigned to experienced editors. I'm new as of today. I made a few edits that caused no problem. I simply wanted to add a photo of an actual specimen that hit a roof, just like the photo on the right side of the page. Forgive me. Uh, do you want me to add this historic photo that I recently took? GEOGOZZGEOGOZZ (talk) 21:33, 11 April 2015 (UTC)

Hi again, Luk. Thanks for fixing it. I will add it and see how it looks. If you view the edit and you think it is too much, well, I'll remove it then. Just let me know. GEOGOZZGEOGOZZ (talk) 21:53, 11 April 2015 (UTC)

Wayne Bridge[edit]

I am not sure why you reverted my changes to the Wayne Bridge page, but I think you will find that my change was correct, as I was simply reverting vandalism by someone else.

Klbogart55 socks[edit]

Hello. I saw that you blocked one of Klbogart55's socks recently. They keep making new socks and keep editing the same pages. I've found a new one that popped up on one of the articles they keep editing over and over... KileBogart500. Corky | Chat? 15:13, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
