Vandalism by others users on Altoona-related articles[edit]

As you are already aware, there has been consistent vandalism to Altoona-related articles as well as your user pages. Despite these edits coming from different IPs, the nature of the edits indicates that they are being performed by one (or at most: a select few) individual(s). It also appears likely that the individual(s) know you personally, as random strangers generally wouldn't have such persistence to direct their libel toward you directly. I am pursuing the issue with the internet service provider -- which is the same across all of the IP addresses making the edits. Any information you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. If you know the individual(s), you may be able to file a lawsuit against the individual(s) for libel, slander, harassment, etc. Cheers! --Bossi (talkgallerycontrib) 00:42, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, this is much appreciated. Unfortunately, I do know this user from a site I used to post on back when I had very controversial viewpoints which have since changed for the better. MVillani1985 (talk) 14:39, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have a really cool page, I love football and the format is nice. Sorry but I'm a Pitt fan but i hope the lions win too! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.200.128.186 (talk) 10:55, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Little context in Umbrubru Forest[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Umbrubru Forest, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Umbrubru Forest is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Umbrubru Forest, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 10:10, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I must say that your predictions were very close, its hard to get them all right but you did fine. Looking forward to the new predictions for this year. Go PSU

Talk pages[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. CreativeSoul7981 (talk) 22:24, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for June 7[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited High-low skirt, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Voice (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of Value Shitty[edit]

Please do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you. Ueutyi (talk) 08:01, 10 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It was a common nickname for Value City in the region the stores existed. The nickname is meant in good fun, not to be hurtful, as a pun on the store's name, used mostly by the regular customers. Kind of like when people call Wal-Mart something like Wal-Fart. I made a redirect because I didn't feel mentioning the local nickname was appropriate for the article since it would probably detract from the professional intent. And it's hard to share context within a redirect. MVillani1985 (talk) 22:33, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Super Mario Sauerkraut listed at Redirects for discussion[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Super Mario Sauerkraut. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 03:02, 11 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Haha, wow I'm just finding out about this. We used to call it "Super Mario Sauerkraut" back in the day because "Super Kart" looked a tiny bit like sauerkraut if you had a good imagination. But I get why you got rid of it, too weird and esoteric of a nickname. So I won't be contesting its removal. MVillani1985 (talk) 02:55, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, MVillani1985. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Brokenbridge, Colorado, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Hi! If you found me from remembering me from a long time ago, I'm likely nothing like the silly/impish/shock jock/controversial person I was back in 2003-2008.[edit]

I haven't logged into this account in ages. I forgot I even had it. I'm going to try to do a better job contributing to Wikipedia than I did back in the day.
