This makes the point that Leonardo in general, and that work of art in particular have an extraordinary and universal appeal that goes far beyond serious study and academic appreciation.

Definite articles[edit]

Please stop removing definite articles from pages. "related to pugilist Daniel Mendoza" is incorrect. "related to the pugilist Daniel Mendoza" is grammatically correct in good quality British English. Dropping the article is lazy journalese, or also just acceptable in American English. Greetings Marigold100. I've just seen the good work you've done over at Hoagy Carmichael and elsewhere, but looking over your edit summaries I was thinking that they needn't be so detailed. I don't mean to interfere with your methodological approach if that's the way you want to do it, and you might not want to go to the opposite extreme and just write "tweaks" like wot I do, but "copy-edit" (some people put "ce") is fine.
