The Open Door[edit]

Regarding this reversion, no problem with that, but look at what the citation is sourcing...says that it was released in Colombia in October 2007. Obviously this is a problem...it must actually be October 2006, which means the date for the citation should be October 18, 2006. Heading to sleep now, but look forward to your thoughts. Huntster (t @ c) 12:21, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I actually think that October 18, 2007 is the exact day the Weight of the World single was released. If you look at this, EvThreads.com first discussed this on October 18, 2007. This is weird since the source has been around since at least May 15, 2007. --Markhoris (talk) 11:16, 14 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Stranger and stranger. I honestly don't know how to best reconcile this issue. I wonder if there wasn't an error with the archiving service that's presenting an incorrect date...seems unlikely, but unless the source was vastly prescient...I dunno. Work Bitch[edit]

A reference I added from Examiner.com was removed with it cited as 'unreliable', but another quote under the Critical Reception section added by another user references the same website to source information. Is there a reason why my citation was removed but the other is allowed to be used? User5482 (talk) 19:43, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't notice that, thanks for pointing it out to me. By the way, the reason Examiner.com is unreliable is because it accepts articles from anyone with limited or no editorial oversight. There is a reason the URL is on the blacklist. --Markhoris (talk) 04:53, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Work Bitch[edit]

The producers that are mostly mentioned to have produced the song are will.i.am and Anthony Preston. http://rock.rapgenius.com/Britney-spears-work-bitch-lyrics#note-2209338 http://www.directlyrics.com/britney-spears-werk-bitch-lyrics.html http://muzicjunkie.com/reviews/britney-spears-work-bitch-new-single/ Other than that I think we should wait until the album is released so we can see the production credits.

Sorry for the confusion. The issue I was trying to point out (mostly) was that none of the sources provided showed a digital download release, only CD. — Status (talk · contribs) 16:28, 4 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Perfume[edit]

I had a reliable source but as usual it got edited and deleted again. I'm a Britney fan so I really follow what she's doing and all the news related to her so I do know stuff, and when I got to add that stuff on wiki pages like the Perfume one it gets deleted as if all the things I edited are irrelevant to some people which happen to have some'authority' over those pages. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Westernassisin (talkcontribs) 08:27, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Are you talking about a source for Keith Harris being a producer and Chris Braide being a writer for "Perfume"? If there is a reliable source for that, can you provide it? I don't recall there being one. --Markhoris (talk) 12:23, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have represented Chris Braide, Braide Productions Inc, for the past 10 years for all of his digital releases as an artist, and together with himself and his management - McDaniel Entertainment and his publisher SONY BMG/Chrysalis try to ensure all of his work as an artist/writer and producer is represented accurately and clearly. I can confirm that Chris Braide and Sia Furler wrote this song together with some lyrical additions by Britney Spears. RCA will confirm this. Agentwilde (talk) 15:23, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Markhoris - We don't wish to be unreasonable only to state the facts, however you have a better understanding of what is required in wiki than we do. Just to reiterate Chris Braide and Sia Furler wrote Perfume together, Chris produced the track - the one released as a single he did the vocal production only, The Dreaming Mix, which will be available on the deluxe version is all his production. I have just discussed all of this with Chris, we will leave it until the album comes out with all the credits. Thanks Agentwilde (talk) 16:41, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Britney Jean Japan bonus track lengths[edit]

I don't know how to source the lengths of a remix, but the remixes were sent them out to radio and I have tried to fill in the lengths of those two remixes. Work Bitch (The Jane Doze Remix) - 2:58, Work Bitch (7th Heaven Club Mix) - 7:07. Gcampbell92 (talk) 16:41, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

KotOR II[edit]

A few days ago, I looked at the Sith Lords article, an article in need of severe expansion. It was a nice surprise, then, to see it suddenly nominated as a Good Article a few days later. Nice work, and good luck with it. – The Millionth One (talk) (contribs) 15:30, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Millionth One, thank you for the kind words. Expanding the article was pretty hard, and hopefully I will bring it to Good Article status. You did a great job on the Kreia article too. --Markhoris (talk) 15:52, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • They don't use Japanese peak chart positions because Japan Hot 100 was established in 2008. So the singles which were released before 2008 didn't have chart positions on that chart. If they want to use Japanese peaks for singles, they have to refer to Oricon Singles Chart. Like Avril Lavigne discography.
  • The size of the music market has been a widely used policy. The former editor of Meghan Trainor discography also used this policy to select country which can be shown on the table. See THIS.
  • There are also many discography using another country's peaks instead of Ireland ones though the artist gets higher peaks in IRE. See Lady Gaga discography, Katy Perry discography and Lana Del Rey discography. This has been discussed many times on the talk page. Please click and see.
  • Trainor doesn't get bad grades in Japan. There are three songs charted on Japan Hot 100, and one song was a top ten hit. Trainor also went to Japan many times to promote her album and singles. See All About That Bass Live, Interview and Live at SMAP X SMAP in Japan. Japan is one of her important markets. Did she also do that in Ireland?
  • "Higher peaks don't really mean anything, since it is much easier to get those peaks in Ireland, since the market is so small."
  • If you think we have to show more certifications on discography. Why don't you change Netherlands into Denmark or Italy?
    • Denmark: Platinum + Gold
    • Italy: 2× Platinum + Gold
    • Netherlands: None
  • "All About That Bass" was certified triple platinum in Sweden, double platinum in Spain.
  • "The first certification listed per work should be the award for the artist's home country, followed by the rest of the awards earned, listed alphabetically by provider." The WikiProject you link to says so.
  • You just came along and reverted a bunch of edits and did not give the reason (you didn't like them). Don't change the image I put. It's the latest and clearest.

List of Neverwinter Nights characters[edit]

Hi Markhoris,

Concerning List of Neverwinter Nights characters, articles actually do need to be properly sourced, and not by its primary sources, i.e., the video game where the character is from. I should've pointed to the guideline WP:GAMETRIVIA No. 6. I've nominated the list of deletion though, as I can find any reliable sources on the characters. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 16:00, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you that that particular picture should not be used. I've warned the other editor for edit warring and suggested that her or she raise it on the article's talk page. Meters (talk) 22:57, 26 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Britney Spears lead image[edit]

In regards to your edit summaries, I wasn't merely referring to edits I made on her specific page, but rather edits on related pages, such as Glory (Britney Spears album), which I have made significant contributions to. I've opened up a discussion about the image on the Britney Spears talk page so a consensus can be reached. Thank you. Traveltoromantis (talk) 23:05, 26 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
