Speedy deletion nomination of File:John Grimek Posing.jpeg[edit]

A tag has been placed on File:John Grimek Posing.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Maiden and married names[edit]

@Jim1138: The source didn't seem authoritative, and didn't actually state what "many" means. I thought it didn't fit, but I'll read up more on Wiki source guidelines. What would be the ideal way to handle this, when the site is blog like, or editorial? One of the linked sources states 90% of women take the name, and the only source for saying "many" face a "difficult decision" was that the author saw several forum posts of women asking if they should take the name. Unicode 9.0 Templates[edit]

Please stop updating Unicode templates before Unicode 9.0 has been released. Every time that a new version of Unicode is released a group Wikipedians have to go update hundreds or pages and templates. In order to coordinate this work we have one simple rule, not to update any pages until after the version of Unicode has been officially released. Thank you for your understanding.
