Hello, I'm -Alabama-. I noticed that you made a change to an article, John Wayne, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. -Alabama- (talk) 01:51, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Adding Foundational Black American to articles is unacceptable

[edit]

Two main reasons - you have no source meeting our requirements at WP:V and WP:RS. Secondly this is promoted and perhaps the brain child of Tariq Nasheed a conspiracy buff who "is notorious for his misogynistic, queerphobic, xenophobic and often ahistorical commentary on Blackness in America." I'll also note that this is a very divisive term as FBA supporters reject pan-Africanism and believe they are a unique ethnic group with complex cultural and societal ideologies different from Africans and other Black immigrants. Community members often call those who do not identify with the culture “non-FBAs.” Please stop. If you carry on violating our policies and guidelines, my first reason, you are likely to be blocked.
