Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Mediterranean tropical cyclone has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): img[0-9]+\.imageshack\.us/*(?:my\.php\?image=|img[0-9]+/).*\.(?:jpg|jpeg|png|gif|bmp|tif|tiff|swf) (links: http://img102.imageshack.us/img102/1429/tlcgennaio2009xk0.jpg). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 01:50, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Med cyclones

[edit]

Simply put, it needs a scholarly source like the ones in the "References" area, not the mets at Storm2k or your own thoughts (original research). In addition, take a look at the writing of other articles in Wikipedia. The tone in which you made your edits were strange: "So if you see "popcorn convection" it is a good sign that it does have a warm core. Popcorn/towering convection-> " and "So I'm pretty sure this deserves a spot here. It lasted a few days.". Try putting what you put in the article itself on the talkpage and maybe someone will agree with you. -- RattleMan 02:40, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on WASP-16b, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article that does not provide sufficient context to identify its subject. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ScythreTalkContribs 22:29, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You've probably already noticed that I've declined the speedy deletion of this article. Toddst1 (talk) 22:36, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, I feel the updates of the extrasolar planets are to slow, so I will start any I feel that need to be added. I'm doing this for you guys to expand on it. Matthurricane (talk) 22:42, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

[edit]

Hello,

I was wondering, what language do you normally speak? It might help if you invested in a spelling and grammar checker for the articles you're writing.

You might want to try

http://www.spellchecker.net/spellcheck/

Please note that:

  • "AU" is always capitalized, does not take an "s" for pluralization, since it is a unit designation, and means astronomical unit. You can build a piped link for it as:
[[astronomical unit|AU]]
  • "MJ" or "M" means Jupiter mass, it's also a unit designation, and you can build a piped link for it as:
[[Jupiter mass|MJ]]
  • "ME" or "M" means Earth mass, and you can similarly build a piped link.
  • "gas giant" is not capitalized, unless it is at the beginning of a sentence, and then it would be "Gas giant"

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article Beta Ophiuchi b, please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. PDCook (talk) 20:59, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for adding a reference to this article. I had modified it into a more appropriate format. Please review WP:MOS and WP:Citing sources on how best to do this for future articles. Thanks for your contributions! Regards, PDCook (talk) 15:44, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2009 in science, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dartmouth (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

No innovative idea's for the 2000's?=

[edit]

I find it amazing that there's no innovative technology/science during the 2000's or 2010's.
