Disambiguation link notification for March 6[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited H&M, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sakarya (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Erdoğan and AKP[edit]

When did Erdoğan leave AKP? Alakzi (talk) 11:10, 6 April 2015 (UTC)

Yes Alakzi, his membership officially ended by Constitution of Turkey. See:[1] Maurice Flesier (talk) 11:16, 6 April 2015 (UTC)
Yes, the constitution does say that, but he question is, did he? Can you find a source that says as much? Alakzi (talk) 14:39, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

Turkey Name and Motto[edit]

Hello there Maurice,

I respect you as a major Wikipedia editor, you obviously know a lot about the subject of Turkey. I thank you for your edit but I am completely sure that the official name of Turkey, under the constitution of the the nation, is the "State of Turkey" And the motto is also official, under The 1982 amended constitution. I fully respect your edit to the article for Turkey but please, revert your changes as the information was correct.

Please Maurice, do not take this in a hostile way, I respect your edits but it is incorrect, my deepest apologies for this.

Kindest Regards Marmiras — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marmiras (talkcontribs) 14:32, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

Istanbul World Heritage Sites[edit]

Hallo Maurice, I started a thread on Talk:Istanbul#Istanbul_World_Heritage_Sites. Bye Alex2006 (talk) 11:19, 17 April 2015 (UTC)

Inclusion of Turkish in non-Turkish settlements[edit]

Why do you insist on adding Turkish names for non-Turkish settlements in Kosovo? This is redundant (and unconstructive).--Zoupan 15:57, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

Non-Turkish settlements cannot be considered as a reason. As I said on the summary, Turkish language officially recognized regional language for Municipalities of Kosovo like Albanian and Serbian!! Maurice Flesier (talk) 16:06, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
Bosniak, Romani are as well. Common sense: Turks constitute less than 0.1%—no need for Turkish. I will report you since you insist on reverting.--Zoupan 16:13, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

See Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard#Gra.C4.8Danica.2C_Kosovo.--Zoupan 16:25, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

Wrong forum; I started a new thread, Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view/Noticeboard#Turkish_language_in_introduction_of_Gra.C4.8Danica.2C_Kosovo.--Zoupan 15:39, 29 April 2015 (UTC)

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. --Zoupan 17:56, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

So, if there is an ongoing discussion, the stable version stays.--Zoupan 17:56, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

Sorry[edit]

I was just reverting myself, having noticed too late that the column was headed "UNWTO region", but I'd taken too long checking it on the UNWTO site. Sorry for putting you to the trouble of reverting me. It does make me wonder whether that column is very helpful - but I'll not get involved in that now! NebY (talk) 11:20, 29 April 2015 (UTC)

There is no reason to apologize, NebY. Technically, you're right. Antalya geographically is located in Asia. But the UN World Tourism Organisation shows to Turkey in Europe just like İsrael. I think that this column be removeD for Euromonitor and MasterCard reports. Ultimately, the WTO regions has nothing to do with them. Thus, the disputes that may arise in the future can be avoided. Maurice Flesier (talk) 12:13, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
Thank you! I agree; I suppose I could check the history to see if this has been a matter of discussion or dispute before but otherwise we could just go ahead. I'm even wondering whether using UNWTO regions in any of the tables helps at all, or whether readers would find the customary geographic continents more useful. Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Maurice_Flesier reported by User:Anastan (Result: ). Thank you. Ąnαșταη (ταlκ) 19:39, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

Hello Maurice Flesier. I have noticed there is an entry for you (as Maurice07) in WP:RESTRICT, which recommends an indefinite block if disputes involving you spread to new areas. If you have any comments on what admins should do here, you could reply to the complaint about you at WP:AN3. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 00:04, 4 May 2015 (UTC)

Edit warring at Gračanica, Kosovo[edit]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for Long-term edit warring. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

The full report is at at this AN3 case (permanent link). See WP:GAB if you wish to appeal. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 16:45, 5 May 2015 (UTC)

Appeal?? Which case is taken to appeal without any defense? Yes, each user does not make edit to Wikipedia for 24 hours. If this is a part of Archive128, Gračanica would be a town in Greece? I violated 3RR but not AE banned topics. Is Hagia Sophia part of Greek-Turkish relations? User:Anastan is sockpuppet of User:Zoupan. To understand this, you do not need to be a scientist! I put a template associated with it, but it was removed by sockpuppet. Zoupan activates the Anastan to avoid infringement. Same Serbian related articles, same moves..
Frankly, I do not believe that it is no longer neutral in Wikipedia, admin User:EdJohnston. Certain articles, has turned the property of specific users. This situation is being covered up by administrators. Armenian and Greek users running the lobbying and it took place in The Guardian. Already this is surely known. Unblock request will not change anything, as in the previous. No Justice, no neutral admins, no objective articles and a user without puppets.. Thank u Maurice Flesier (talk) 21:35, 5 May 2015 (UTC)
I want to note that Maurice Flesier accused Anastan to be my sockpuppet.--Zoupan 22:59, 5 May 2015 (UTC)
