Proposed deletion of The Grove (Magazine)[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article The Grove (Magazine) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable magazine.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jarkeld (talk) 12:54, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

Doesn't look like its still up for deletion - apologies if I just can't see it for being a pretty lowly wikipedian. I think the completed (for now) article and my talk on the article talk page offers a satisfactory rebuttal of your proposed deletion - please say if that isn't the case. Maxdf (talk) 13:32, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

Since your edit deleted the {{prod}} tag it is not up for deletion (see WP:PROD). But if I take a look at the page and the examples mentioned on the talkpage I can see a significant difference in notability (see WP:NOTABILITY). The other articles offer references for the claims to notability. Your article does not. If you can address these issues I'll reconsider, but if not I'll probably nominate it for AfD instead (see WP:AfD). Jarkeld (talk) 13:55, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

I have nominated The Grove (Magazine), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Grove (Magazine). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Jarkeld (talk) 14:40, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
