Request reason:

Ithink I’ve been blocked by mistake. When I try to edit a message comes up saying “Editing from has been blocked (disabled) by Drmies for the following reason(s): too much vandalism here, including a handful of socks”. I’ve never vandalised anything, or been accused of vandalising. Not sure how I’m involved in this. Thanks.

Accept reason:

That block now only affects non-logged-in editors; you should be ok to edit now. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 14:16, 7 July 2018 (UTC)

Thanks very much for resolving this quickly.Mccapra (talk) 15:18, 7 July 2018 (UTC)

August 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm TJRC. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, List of people of Korean descent, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. TJRC (talk) 05:53, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

thanks. Unfortunately the articles I was linking had a Korean sourc3 which is now dead, so I’m nit able to restore them.Mccapra (talk) 08:23, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

Hello. Help add link for Maureen Wroblewitz. Thank you. (talk) 08:31, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

that’s a hard one! I’ve had a look and can’t see anything immediate that should link to it. I’ll keep it in mind as I work though and link to it if I can.Mccapra (talk) 08:35, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

Phil Drummond AfD[edit]

The Phil Drummond article appears to be missing the AfD comment page. It is not included in the proposed deletion tag. Wanted to let you know. -AuthorAuthor (talk) 04:10, 26 August 2018 (UTC)

hi thanks @AuthorAuthor: the proposed deletion appears as normal in articles proposed for deletion. Articles nominated under this process don’t have a discussion in the same way that those nominated under AfD have. The setup here seems to be fine, but thanks for alerting me anyway.Mccapra (talk) 05:41, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
Many thanks for the clarification. I should have noticed it was a proposal and not an AfD. -AuthorAuthor (talk) 06:27, 26 August 2018 (UTC)

deprod Phil Drummond[edit]

Drummond is notable as a producer, at least for Xpansions who did go on TOTP. If it reads like a vanity article, feel free to strip out all vanity and promo lang. Note, the article does indeed still have a lack of WP:RS, and I don't find anything of value on Google; this is strange, as you'd think an act with a #7 UK single should at least have been written about in Sounds/NME. So if you want to AfD this article for lack of RS, go ahead, at least as a way of drawing possible editorial improvement out of the woodwork. But consider the quick prod objected to. AllGloryToTheHypnotoad (talk) 13:42, 27 August 2018 (UTC)

hi @AllGloryToTheHypnotoad: thanks for letting me know. It’s the lack of sources that led me to prod it, but I’ll just leave it rather than AfD it.Mccapra (talk) 15:58, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
Well, every page here does get better eventually.... AllGloryToTheHypnotoad (talk) 16:25, 27 August 2018 (UTC)

List of freeware[edit]

Before adding more entries to List of freeware, please make sure to always add a citation that explicitly labels the software as "freeware" – the word "freeware" must appear in the citation. It should also be to a reliable source, such as a computer news magazine. Websites that provide a service don't belong here. "Freeware" is generally defined as a free software application that users can download and run on their PC. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 08:17, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
