Hello, and a small dinosaur dinner as a welcome[edit]

Hi, didn't know you were new, so welcome. As to the bee hummingbird, yes, it is the smallest known dinosaur of all time. No fossil dinosaur has been found as small as this specimen (the article cited on the page, where the bee hummingbird is mentioned in the second paragraph, was about a similarly-sized bird which turned out to be a lizard and so the article was retracted as to the lizard but not the factual descriptor of the bee hummingbird). The information was added to the lead by an administrator. The key word is "known", and as no other same-sized or smaller dinosaur, including any other bird, has been found, the language is factual and encyclopedic, and a relevant size-record for this particular bird. Randy Kryn (talk) 10:07, 15 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

p.s. Looked at your Kakivak draft, and it now seems fine and well sourced, so you can probably just mainspace it without waiting for further approval (which can take months). Randy Kryn (talk) 10:15, 15 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there! I went back on my edit after the fact. I didn't add the source back, because it had been retracted (I believe for innacuracies) and I thought it invalid as a source. (Btw, first time using the talk page, so I probably pulled a WikiDodo here) Mebigrouxboy (talk) 21:45, 15 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Just saw your nice note on the page, classy. The source seems unique as it proves the point by being retracted. The article was about a fossil bird that rivaled the bee hummingbird as the smallest known dinosaur, but then was later found to be a lizard and not a bird, leaving, hence the retraction, the bee hummingbird as the champion of tiny dinos. Sort of a double-back-flip type of source which proves the point by taking the long way around (a Clara Oswald reference). Randy Kryn (talk) 03:24, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi thanks for creating this article. When we translate or borrow from other language wikis it’s a requirement to acknowledge the source. The best way to do this is to include it in your first edit summary (e.g. “translated from es.wiki”) and there’s also a translation template you can add to the talk page. I’ve added it for you. Happy editing and please leave a message on my talk page if you need any help Mccapra (talk) 08:56, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:51, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Moving categories[edit]

Hi, please just use the WP:Categories_for_discussion process for moving categories, rather than copying and pasting to a corrected name. The latter loses the history of the page, including attribution to the original author. It also unlinks the page from Wikidata, where it might be connected to equivalent pages in other-language Wikipedians, Commons etc (although in the case of Category:Egalitarian communities there were no such pages). If there was a talk page, that would also be lost.

The other advantages of using CFD are that even better ideas may emerge, and that a bot will move the contents for you.

Hope this helps. Thanks for tidying up mistakes on Wikipedia! – Fayenatic London 08:23, 23 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Lego Indiana Jones GAN[edit]

Hey, I think you can just request a second opinion on your GAN since the previous reviewer was inactive. It may speed up the process a bit as opposed to waiting for someone to pick up the new nomination. -- ZooBlazertalk 22:41, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

How would I go about that? Mebigrouxboy (talk) 22:43, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at the instructions, it seems the reviewer has to do it, but it also mentions that you can leave a message at the good article nominations talk page. Just tell them the situation and maybe one will have a look. If not you may just be stuck doing what you already did and keeping a new nomination. -- ZooBlazertalk 23:16, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the message, but I frankly can't be bothered to do any course of action other than keep it in GAN. Mebigrouxboy (talk) 02:41, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The article Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass; otherwise it may fail. See Talk:Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues and Talk:Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues/GA3 for issues which need to be addressed. The article Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues for comments about the article, and Talk:Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues/GA3 for the nomination. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. DYK for Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues[edit]

On 4 May 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the existence of Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues was accidentally leaked when it was displayed on an animator's résumé? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Speedy deletion nomination of Black War: Mission Exteme 2[edit]

Hello Mebigrouxboy,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Black War: Mission Exteme 2 for deletion, because it's a redirect that seems implausible or is an unlikely search term.

If you don't want Black War: Mission Exteme 2 to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
