I noticed the new article you created Root system of a semi-simple Lie algebra, thanks for that and thanks also for updating Wikipedia:WikiProject Mathematics/PlanetMath Exchange/17-XX Nonassociative rings and algebras (notice the tweak I made to your edit there: [1])

Since you are a new editor I want to welcome you to the project and let you know about some things you might be interested in. Style issues[edit]

Hello. Please notice my edits to two of the articles you've recently created. I've brought them closer to the norms of Wikipedia:Manual of Style and Wikipedia:Manual of Style (mathematics). You were using too many capital letters in article titles and section headings and neglecting some of the basic mathematical notation style conventions.

Also, "Let g be a Lie algebra over a field K." is an inappropriate opening sentence; it fails to tell the lay reader, among other things, that mathematics is what the article is about. Michael Hardy (talk) 16:41, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Think: A Compelling Introduction to Philosophy[edit]

The article Think: A Compelling Introduction to Philosophy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no indication of notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Answer: I don't remember having written the article. Maybe somebody (the author?) has hacked my account at that time. I have since changed the password and not noticed further strange activities. I agree that the article does not have a relevance section and not even a description of the book's content. It is thus not a good contribution to the wikipedia and I agree to its deletion. Index of a Lie algebra moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Index of a Lie algebra, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. It looks as if somebody has extended a bit on the article. In its current state it has at least 2 references. So I believe that leaving it in the public space with a state somewhere between stub and starter article is plausible. MelchiorG (talk) 15:02, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
