credit where credit is due[edit]

Although I put the file in the article, you should be thanking es:User:Natalia0893 in Wikimedia Commons. As part of a school project, she recorded and uploaded the pronunciations of over 100 words related to Mexico.Thelmadatter (talk) 21:41, 20 November 2013 (UTC)

Tostilocos[edit]

Hi Meowmeow10. Can you please take a look on the article talk page where I raised an issue I came across? Also, should the article be moved to Tostiloco (singular)? Thanks. Candleabracadabra (talk) 18:00, 22 January 2014 (UTC)

Okay. Thanks for your reply. I added one of the photos from commons. See what you think. Is it a tostilocos? Is it actually referred to as a walking taco or is that just the photographer's description? I think the other photo in the category on commons is a frito pie which is a distinct subject (I added that article subject as a see also), and wouldn't be appropriate to add unless it's discussed in the article with citation linking the two foods. Take care and have fun. Eat well. Candleabracadabra (talk) 18:42, 22 January 2014 (UTC)

Interestingly enough there is an article on the walking taco. The plot thickens. Is this a distinct subject or is a merger in order? Candleabracadabra (talk) 18:49, 22 January 2014 (UTC)

Link format[edit]

Hello, re: this edit, the grammar change was obviously fine, but the link change was not, so I've undone it. The text "[[river dolphin]]s" is the correct way to format a link where the link description is a plural but the link target is not. Graham87 03:56, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
