Like you, I don't edit many music articles here on Wikipedia. I might once in a while, but rarely. Anyhow, Metal on! \m/ --Grrrlriot ( ) 00:47, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
Also, I just replied to your comment on my user talk page. Some IP address reverted your comment on my talk page, so it didn't show up, so I reverted the IP's edit. --Grrrlriot ( ) 04:49, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

WP:DATE[edit]

Hi!

I noticed you changed "since 1989" back to "1989 - present" in the Marilyn Manson article. Could you please leave it as it please, as WP:DATE says that was the preferred format? Thanks! Dark Prime (talk) 19:13, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

No problem, I had thought that "---- Present" was the standard format.--Metalhead94 (talk) 04:17, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
I can understand how one could think that since it's pretty much everywhere. But apparently not, as it was changed by a wikipedia administrator in the Gorgoroth article. Dark Prime (talk) 08:32, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

Thanks[edit]

Many thanks for tidying up my poor diction in the Zipeprol page. As you can see, I normally restrict myself to finding & adding the original patents because it's one of the few sources available free to all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.30.243.179 (talk) 13:50, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

DHC page[edit]

Hi - I wondered what you thought about the page concerning dihydrocodine. The PDSP Ki database shows that the activity of the compound is as a prodrug (O-demethylation to dihydromorphine). The drug, therefore, DOES have a dose-ceiling. The style of the page seems to dwell far too much on the misuse of the drug & is poorly referenced. I wondered if you would take a crack at re-doing it? I think your linguistic skills outstrip mine... thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.30.243.179 (talk) 14:15, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

Mitragyna Speciosa[edit]

You removed the statement:

"Despite its frequent medicinal use, and relative lack of side effects, Mitragyna Speciosa is frequently implicated in the media as dangerous. Media accusations often assert that Kratom causes a wide variety of unrelated side effects, though reviews of the scientific literature and population reports show these claims to be inaccurate or unfounded. The scientific evidence supporting these assertions is non-existent and Kratom, while taken alone, has never been scientifically proven to pose health risks."

Citing "No citation". However, this is part of the intro. We don't put citations in the introduction. Please see the other sections for the relevant citations. ThorPorre (talk) 14:20, 11 March 2013 (UTC)

Strange edit[edit]

Adding a space into the word 'movement' was a bit odd? I've rejoined the word. Trafford09 (talk) 19:03, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

The edit was a mistake. Thanks for correcting it.--Metalhead94 T C 20:46, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

Opting in to VisualEditor[edit]

As you may know, VisualEditor ("Edit beta") is currently available on the English Wikipedia only for registered editors who choose to enable it. Since you have made 50 or more edits with VisualEditor this year, I want to make sure that you know that you can enable VisualEditor (if you haven't already done so) by going to your preferences and choosing the item, "Enable the visual editor. It will be available in the following namespaces: $1". This will give you the option of using VisualEditor on articles and userpages when you want to, and give you the opportunity to spot changes in the interface and suggest improvements. We value your feedback, whether positive or negative, about using VisualEditor, at Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback. Thank you, Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 20:16, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

you will not be able to use any data source except the words for the channel. Buk was used, but may not be. All the evidence is not more than to believe in the words of one ordinary journalist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.105.158.243 (talk) 06:32, 11 January 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. July 2017[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mitragyna speciosa. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Alexbrn (talk) 03:14, 11 July 2017 (UTC)
