Liuhe Bafa[edit]

Please propose any potentially controversial article renamings on the talk page first, and cite reliable, published sources when making claims of factual accuracy. I have undone the move you enacted and voiced my concerns on the article's talk page. VanTucky (talk) 19:29, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Claiming you are a "representitive" of the art as a whole is nonsense, pure and simple. I myself also have practiced the art, and just because you teach or practice liuhebafa doesn't make you a representitive of the art. Also, if promoting liuhebafa is your goal, this is not the place for you. Wikipedia is not a place for people to promote things, it's an encyclopedia. VanTucky (talk) 19:49, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You are quite impolite. I never claimed to represent the art as a whole. I simply mean that I am a teacher of the style, and as such I take responsibility to teach and promote the style the best I can. That is what a representative is, same as all who teach lhbf.

And I never mentioned anything about my lineage, teacher, personal views, etc. I have added only general information that is relevant to all!Mildsevenlights

Ive done nothing more than add information that wasnt included, and correct plain and simple errors and inconsistencies! If this is indeed an encyclopedia then the information should be correct!Mildsevenlights

License tagging for Image:Wangxiangzhai.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Wangxiangzhai.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:24, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Introduction to Nèijiā arts[edit]

Hi, I noticed that you've recently edited xingyiquan, taijiquan and baguazhang - replacing the neijia reference in the opening paragraph with the 4 neijia referenced directly. I recommended against this previously, since a) any disputed over neijia arts can cause an edit war over multiple articles, b) the articles are about their respective arts, not about neijia. These concerns still stand - so I'm reverting those changes unless you can justify the change.

As a side note - when you are linking to articles and the article itself includes the chinese characters, don't include them after the link (interested parties can find the characters by following the link) - I think that's covered in the MOS. -- Medains 15:09, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Tang Fung3.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Tang Fung3.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. [midnight comet] [talk] 15:34, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation[edit]

Your upload of File:Chenyiren.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!
