Welcome to Wikipedia, Miraculouschaos! My name is Ryan, aka Acetic Acid. I noticed that you were new and haven't received any messages yet. I just wanted to see how you were doing. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it uses different formatting than other sites that use HTML and CSS. In the long run, though, you'll find that the WikiSyntax is a lot easier and faster than those other ways. Here are a few links to get you started:

Hello! Thanks for getting back to me on this. I think that the article requires one or two quotes from film festivals and/or reviews to illustrate its notability either in technical achievement (silent films) or cultural and critical response. If you have reviews that don't gush, i.e. "Best film ever!" but offer some structured reasoning then so much the better. The cast list doesn't particularly add anything to the article as most of the people appear to be non-notable. I'm trying to see this from a researchers' point-of-view - what did this film achieve in terms of production (scripting, filming, editing, distribution) and in the minds of its audience (critical reviews, awards). History of New Jersey article

Sorry about removing your edits on the History of New Jersey article, but 72.93.12.77 took out a good half of the article. I'm sorta new to Wikipedia, so for future reference, what is the formal method of removing vandalism? I just went to the most recent edit before his and performed an edit on it without actually changing anything. Maybe there is a way to keep subsequent valid edits? Fair use rationale for Image:Descriptionary.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Descriptionary.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
