Newyorkbrad's RfA[edit]

Thank you for your support on my RfA, which closed favorably this morning, as well as for your kind comments accompanying your !vote. I appreciate the confidence the community has placed in me and am looking forward to my new responsibilities. Please let me know if ever you have any comments or suggestions, especially as I am learning how to use the tools. Best regards, Newyorkbrad 19:10, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Random Informaton[edit]

Re: Tam Pierce. It's hardly random information. It's the start of an article about a very old and well known folk song. It's also linked to an album by Burl Ives, which in turn is linked to the discography in the Burl Ives entry. I noted that the "article" was a stub; I had planned to come back to it later. Chironomia 23 January 2007

Re: Copyright. True folk songs are in the public domain. But let's do without the lyrics for now. I can include summaries and links instead. Feel free to add to the content of the articles (i.e., the stubs) to improve them. Deleting is not the only option, you know. Chironomia 24 January 2007

The Wayfaring Stranger, etc.[edit]

Moe: You undid a lot of my work. It was work in progress. I was building -- slowly but surely. You deleted my work without contacting me first to discuss the matter. Although you made some improvements to the "Wayfaring Stranger" article, you also introduced several errors, and you created confusion with the many redirects. How do we resolve this dispute? Chironomia 23 January 2007

O.K, Moe, I will try to follow your advice. But please drop me a note if there's a problem and let me see what I can do about it. Remember, don't bite the newbies. That's a rule, too. Chironomia 24 January 2007

Re: Album infobox error[edit]

Very strange, I will check that out and leave another note when found out, thanks for noticing. -- ReyBrujo 00:22, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

Hmm... well, the explanation is easy (although I can't understand why): the template/MediaWiki is considering a space as album name. In example, "| Cover = " (note the space) gives the Cover variable in the template the value " " (a single space). If it is written "| Cover =" (note the lack of space) makes the image appear. I will see how to fix this. -- ReyBrujo 00:28, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
User:Amarkov fixed it somehow (not sure where, though!). See here for the talk. Cheers! -- ReyBrujo 01:52, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

RE: Recent WWE releases[edit]

Here's the WWE article: http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/3877160223 --James Duggan 20:25, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

I guess we could. Just don't forget to mention why your are listing them. Though it has been a full week and I haven't seen any evidence of people trying to readd the recent releases so I'm not sure if it is necessary. But if you think it will help, go right ahead. --James Duggan 20:40, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
The article was still on the site, just not on the main page. It was on the News subpage. It's one of the options on the left hand side of WWE.com. --James Duggan 21:31, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

FYI on Randy Orton "This Fire Burns"[edit]

I noticed you removed "This Fire Burns" from Randy Orton's line the Music in Professional Wrestling article. FYI, he did, for exactly one episode, use a theme song that I believe was "This Fire Burns" (currently C.M. Punk's theme). The following week, the theme song was reverted to his normal theme. No official reason was given for either change.

However, all that being said, I doubt this fact is verifiable in a published source (I just personally know the song changed for a week because I happened to watch those particular episodes last year and my friend and I spent a while wondering about it). So I don't have a problem with deleting the information as unreferenced. But just so you know, he DID change his theme song for exactly one week in 2006. Later! Dugwiki 18:26, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

A comment about WWE alumni[edit]

Well actually two comments: good job on working on cleaning that, and secondly: Justice Smith, Seth Skyfire, Tracy Taylor, Tommy Suede, Ryan Reeves, Jack Bull, Mike Taylor and Tony Santarelli never appeared on WWE tv ever: they aren't alumni. Being a development talent isn't alumni to WWE itself (if that was the case, the alumni page would be flooded with every development talent released ever). I've removed them from the list. I think a warning of some sort should be put on the top, so people don't add them again (and to prevent adding of release development wrestlers in the future). RobJ1981 17:55, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Ok, I added a note about it and removed the developmental talent. semper fiMoe 18:17, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Wrestling photos/tag teams and stables[edit]

I don't know if you knew this or not, but I created this: User:RobJ1981/NeededPWphotos for a list of wrestling articles needing photos. It's helped somewhat, but not alot. Do you know good sources to get wrestling photos for Wikipedia? While adding articles to the list: I've also noticed tag teams and stables articles on Wikipedia are a mess. Most are short unsourced stubs and lots of POV statements. I've been trying on and off (while I assess and other tasks on Wikipedia), to clean them... but I've hardly made a dent in them. Can you help? RobJ1981 20:48, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Yes, I can help with improving articles and giving you names to be added to your list. Something I haven't been able to do is find a good place to get Images for articles. Most Images about wrestling now pretty much have to be public domain or they get deleted because a rule on Fair Use is that it's only fair use if no free alternative is available. The only problem is finding those free alternatives. I'll start looking though. semper fiMoe 20:58, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Sweet Adelines International[edit]

Hello Moe. Thank you for your interest in Sweet Adelines International.

The information that I recently posted regarding the organization's current activities gives readers a relevent representation of the organization as it stands today.

An accurate synopsis describing the origination of the organization follows the current information section. This particular data was gathered through years of research and anecdoctal feedback from long-term members, describing events and circumstances from first-hand experiences.

As this is approved industry information, I request that you do not alter the copy.

Thank you very much for your support. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kkirchhoff (talkcontribs) 15:35, 11 February 2007 (UTC).

A couple of things I should discuss with you about this article and about Wikipedia itself:
  1. Don't ask people not to edit something, You don't own articles.
  2. Your version doesn't present a neutral point-of-view and it written in a non-standardized format for what Wikipedia considers appropriate.
  3. Where is this information coming from? You didn't provide sources and that much information needs them (See Wikipedia:Citing Sources)
Moe (Review Me) 15:45, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Hello. I apologize that you misunderstood my request. Of course you have the right to edit the page, but all I ask as the Director of Communications is that your information is completely accurate and derived from official Sweet Adelines International publications, bylaws and/or historical documents.
Sweet Adelines International is a wonderful organization with a lot of interesting information for readers to review. I simply added this content to the page, and plan to add more interesting content in the next few days. The Barbershop Harmony Society has a wonderful page on Wikipedia with a lot of pertinent content about their organization. Sweet Adelines International should also have the opportunity to display a wide range of information.
I have included the information source at the bottom of the entry. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kkirchhoff (talkcontribs) 22:23, 11 February 2007 (UTC).
Unfortuantly, we can't list telephone numbers on Wikipedia. As long as the official website which includes that information is listed at the bottom, you don't need to list it twice. above. I have tagged the article for {{tone}} and {{wikify}} so it can be written in the tone of an encyclopedia article. — Moe (Review Me) 22:32, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

If you have seen Big Boss 1 tell me what you think. Big Boss 0 14:54, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Although your allowed to create sockpuppets under WP:SOCK, I'm not really sure I see the point in creating a non-active account for no purpose. — Moe 23:09, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Moe check this out. I couldn't stop laughing the first time I saw this. By the way could I ask you a favor. Big Boss 0 23:11, 16 February 2007 (UTC) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsHBzYYNIns&mode=related&search=

What is the favor you need? (I saw the video, it was alright :P) — Moe 00:15, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

As you know my e-mail account was infected with a virus. My internet company fixed it and gave me a new e-mail account. I am able to recieve e-mails but I do not know if I can send them. So could I by chance e-mail you to see if it works. I am sorry but I lost everything including the WWE HQ e-mail. I will be unreachable for the next two days and I was wondering if I could do this later. I do ask that you keep my e-mail name confidential. Big Boss 0 00:13, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

thiought of you[edit]

I saw this discussion and thought of you ;). I see you are still plugging away in your area of expertise, good for you and for the encyclopedia. Cheers, NoSeptember 06:28, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks NoSeptember. :) But the obvious solution to this is to block me for starting the trend. :p A whole lot of complaining for absolutly nothing. All I see is potentially embarrassed admin getting revenge for clicking on it, wiki looses users for these kinds of things :( — Moe 06:48, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
I too am often amazed about what people feel is worth arguing about. And we do lose users over the silliest things. NoSeptember 06:55, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Cheers. Long time no hear.[edit]

I tried to retire myself, but a troll won't let me.

How've you been? --PaxEquilibrium 23:55, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

Yes, long time, no hear :) What kept me from retiring was the vandalism or misinformation to articles I use to look stuff up for. I'm fine, how are you? — Moe 02:13, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
Slightly frustrated. I really want to retire (and return occasionally to put a news or two), but I simply cannot while User:Afrika paprika is on the run. One time, I finally retired and he added 19 times to my user page that I "suck Vojislav Šešelj's dick". And I really can't retire knowing that he constantly keeps returning like that and harassing me. --PaxEquilibrium 13:24, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
I'm sorry to hear your frustrated :( The only advice I can give you for retiring (like you want) is to not look at the history of your userpage if he is actively vandalizing it. Responsible users/admins will revert and block the socks whenever they start to show up, so theres no reason for you to stress. I have similar trouble whenever I try to retire or the like, my page was vandalized 7 times within the first 24 hours of me trying to leave. Thats when your most vulnerable and thats when vandals seek to attack you. My advice would to be just to stay away from the history page as much as possible. But if you have to look at the history, don't look at what the vandal said, because it will most likely make you upset (I should know, the weirdest vandalism to my userpage was a vandal saying I masturbated with a gerbil up my anus or something like that.) Just ignore them, they aren't worth stressing over. — Moe 16:13, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Re: Cody Runnels and Shawn Spears[edit]

What is your reason for deleting my article? --Cowboy From Hell 20:58, 18 February 2007 (UTC)DJ BatWave

There is no point to this article. There is nothing that can't be included onto the main article of those individual wrestlers articles. There have been teg teams that have won the Tag Team Championships on RAW and SmackDown! that don't deserve articles and they are more notable than Cody Runnels and Shawn Spears. This isn't a wrestling wiki to dump any and all information about professional wrestling. — Moe 02:38, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Big Boss 2[edit]

Someone created the user account User: Big Boss 2. Do me a favor and keep an eye on him. This is not a Big Boss 0 sockpuppet and I reccomend maximum alert around this guy. Big Boss 0 01:37, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Since you are saying that Big Boss 2 isn't yours and he is claiming to be you, then he needs to be indefblocked. — Moe 02:40, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Stranger thing is that User:Yaga Waga Huag attacked it before I knew it even existed. Could he be his socckpuppet? Big Boss 0 02:42, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Maybe, but theres no action to be taken against User:Yaga Waga Huag, he is already indefblocked. — Moe 02:48, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Just to be safe we might want to do a usercheck on User: Big Boss 2 and all of the suspected Ockenbock sockpuppets. Big Boss 0 02:51, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

No need to. All socks are indefblocked and Big Boss 2 will be taken care of. — Moe 02:53, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

So, when will the autoblock expire, if ever? I must have misunderstood the autoblock process. -- The Hybrid 04:04, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Also, I apologize for flipping out on the TCC talk page. While we still disagree, I acted like a dick with that angry rant, and I'm sorry. -- The Hybrid 04:05, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

I just looked up the autoblock thing, so nevermind on the question. Peace, -- The Hybrid 04:14, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

All autoblocks are a 24-hour block. in the case of Big Boss 2, If an IP that was used to login as Big Boss 2 accesses Wikipedia, the WikiMedia server recognizes it and automatically blocks it for 24 hours. Pending on how long the original blockees block was, Big Boss 2's in indef, the autoblock for 24 hour trend will constantly reappear because he will never be unblocked. This is how problem IPs get singled out. I checked and currently no autoblocks have been activated for Big Boss 2, so no worries right now.
I am also sorry for getting a little testy on TTC talk page, it's getting to everyone, the whole debating thing, but things will resolve themselves. Cheers! — Moe 04:16, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Well, at least you got the stupid version of what an autoblock is from me :) — Moe 04:19, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I decided to stop editing the page altogether. It just isn't worth it. Literally everything is currently being disputed. I mentioned it at the WP:PW talk page, and it looks like it may get AfDed. While I doubt it will get deleted, it would sure make it easier on people. That is a subject that at first glance looks relatively uncontroversial, but when people start digging all of this starts to make sense. Cheers, -- The Hybrid 04:22, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
I don't think it would get deleted. It's too popular a subject among wrestling fans and now editors of Wikipedia ;) Naturally, I would vote to keep it, but I wouldn't shed a tear if it was deleted. — Moe 04:24, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, I had something to do. Anyway, the same goes for me. I would personally like to see it deleted, but it does deserve an article. And actually, the stupid version got across exactly what happens with autoblocks better than me reading over the article. Cheers, -- The Hybrid 04:41, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Glad to hear my ignorance was clear :) — Moe 04:49, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Just to make sure I get it ;), so if he doesn't log into any of his blocked accounts for 1 day he will be able to create another account, right? -- The Hybrid 04:51, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Nope, his account creation was blocked [3]Moe 04:56, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Ah, but don't the Wikimedia servers automatically delete any IP information for an account that is older than 2 weeks, or do the WM servers make a point of storing that info for banned users? -- The Hybrid 04:59, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
WikiMedia servers have the memory of an elephant :) — Moe 05:01, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
For one last question, my nephew Logan, who created the account User:Moose-a-chu once while I was letting him mess around on my computer, got my IP autoblocked (little jerk >:( ). He also got the account creation ban. If I hadn't had the autoblock removed, would I have ever been able to edit from this account, which existed previous to the account creation block, or my IP address ever again? -- The Hybrid 05:05, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
*Moe's head swells from overload of questions* Your account was created before the block, you will always be allowed to use that account as long as the block isn't on your block log. That specefic IP he was won't be able to create accounts. If you have more than one IP, I guess that's your ticket around it, but if it's a static IP, you're stuck to one account creation (unless you create an account outside that IP). If the autoblock has been removed, you can edit from your account. If you logged in on the same IP that was blocked, there would have only been one autoblock to remove, and you're editing now aren't you? :) Pending on the number of IPs you use, you're probably not going to have deal with this problem. My best advice is to not let you're nephew edit Wikipedia :P — Moe 05:15, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Alright, thanks for answering my questions :). Yeah, my nephew will never EVER be allowed on this computer again. I think I get the autoblock thing now. I guess the reason auto was in the name ever got through my skull ;). And now I have to log off. Cheers, -- The Hybrid 05:19, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Hybrid[edit]

I believe Hybrid is having a nervous breakdown. See below for evidince. Please leave a response after you finish reading. Big Boss 0 02:34, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

Why the hell did they give Umaga the IC Championship and why did Vince pick him to represent him? Big Boss 0 22:08, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Umaga, they are giving him a mega-push. He has gotten over as a monster heel, and he is able to make the power moves look really devastating. Vince also likes to push big guys. It has worked for him enough times in the past (Undertaker for one example) for him to keep trying it. Umaga also has a fair amount of experience as a member of 3 minute warning, so he knows how to handle himself fairly well. I have a bias towards high-flyers so his IC victory didn't thrill me, but it wasn't the worst choice he could have made. Cheers, -- The Hybrid 22:16, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

How did you get worst choice to link to The Great Khali? And I can think of someone worse than that. Big Boss 0 22:23, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

My Adoptees[edit]

In March I am going to be going on vacation for 10 days. Would you mind if I told my adoptees that they could ask you for advice while I'm gone? I would like to have 3 people for them to be able to go to, and if you say yes you will be the second. They are all very low maintenance. Cheers, -- The Hybrid 03:02, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Sure, it will be my honor. Just tell me their names I'll be sure to make them comfortable in the Hotel Wikipedia :) — Moe 03:16, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
User:Xero Anarian is literally never on. We haven't spoken in months. I'm actually considering dropping him. User:Lazylaces has a great sense of humor, and rarely needs editing advice. User:LindeeK is busy in real life at the moment. I am planning on leaving a note on my talk page rather than sending them a message, so you don't have to introduce yourself. Just be prepared if they show up, which I don't predict. I don't really have a high maintenance adoptee anymore. Thanks Moe, -- The Hybrid 03:22, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Well, when you start to become inactive, I'll be sure to moniter you're talk page and introduce myself to those adoptees who are active. No problem, glad I could help. — Moe 03:25, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Cool. I am leaving on the morning of March 9th, so the evening of March 8th will be when my edits stop. I live in Arizona, so I am 7 hours different from UTC time. When I add the Wikibreak template is when to do what you plan on doing, or whenever you get on if you aren't here when I leave. I get back on the 20th, so I won't be editing again until the 21st of March. Thanks again, -- The Hybrid 03:30, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
I guess we got some time in between now and then to see if your adoptees are going to be active. Happy to help :) — Moe 03:36, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
I messaged Xero. If he doesn't reply within a week I'm dropping him. Peace, -- The Hybrid 03:40, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

What did you hope to accomplish with this page? Lupin's tool doesn't work like that. Unless I'm mistaken, it's supposed to be in your monobook, not your userpace. I have redirected to your userspace. If you need instructions on how to use Lupin's tool, I'm sure he will assist you. Not targeting you're page for no reason. I saw it marked as semi-protected and it wasn't by any means. Oh, I was testing out some changes I've made to my own copy of Lupin's tool. I didn't want to experiment on the real deal so I made my own copy of the file so I could play around with it. --SmilesALot 13:41, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
Oh, ok. Feel free to revert my redirection of your sub-page then. Just make sure to remove the sprotect2 tag (since it isn't protected). — Moe 16:44, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Could you comment here: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Professional_wrestling#Redlinks_in_wrestling_PPV_and_event_articles. Basically to sum it up: I think redlinks should be in articles, and another doesn't. I don't think there is any policy on this? The redlinks are useless non-notable teams and wrestlers that will most likely never get an article on Wikipedia. I'm hoping for a consensus with the project about this. RobJ1981 06:17, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

I have replied at the WikiProject talk page :) — Moe 01:38, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Jimbo "impersonation" fiasco...[edit]

Thanks for sticking up for me on my user talk in that regard Moe. This by far has to be the most trivial reason I've ever appeared on the Incident's board for. It was well intentioned, but the user did indeed act like her user name suggested. Thanks again Moe, :) Spawn Man 22:25, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

You're welcome :) — Moe 23:11, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

The happiest days of our lives[edit]

You know what they say about life, about it being a bitch, and then you die. I hope you're doing okay. Oh, and by the way, it's six months since the worst day of my life. And I feel fine. Will (Speak to Me/Breathe)(Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash) 23:43, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks Will. Tell me on the one-year anniversery and I shall send you a special greeting :) Speaking of worst days, I have three of them, and they are all in February, lol. Did I mention how glad I am that it's March :) — Moe 13:04, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

ArbCom for Free Republic[edit]

Please do not remove comments from the workshop or evidence pages of this Arbitration case again. Removing comments is disruptive and you could be blocked if you do it repeatedly. — Moe 15:32, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

The material I removed was in violation of one or more policies. Specifically, the policy forbidding tampering with someone else's evidence presentation and the policy against posting personal information about another user. Dino 15:43, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
You sir are the one tampering with that person's evidence. If you would like that information to be deleted, not removed, request someone with oversight powers to investigate. Since I have seen your edits like this before though, I have a hunch you have already :requested this and it has been denied, so I suggest you let the matter drop. — Moe 15:48, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
I see your response and notice that you've carefully dodged the bit about "posting personal information about another user." Care to respond? Dino 15:50, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
What are you talking about? If you want my take on personal information here it is: It's unacceptable and a blockable offense for posting. The part your trying to hide is not personal information, meaning, the part you are trying to hide is your last name (I think?) and that is in your username. If you didn't want your real name spread across Wikipedia, you shouldn't have used it in your username to begin with. — Moe 15:56, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

I just reverted another edit by Dino. --BenBurch 16:36, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Must have missed that one, thanks for reverting and feel free to revert any others I may have missed. He has stopped since I talked with him, so I won't take any furthur action. — Moe 16:50, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

I'm not talking about my last name, but someone else's. He did not choose to reveal his last name. Dino 17:06, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Then why have you taken upon yourself to be his represenative for removing his name? — Moe 17:10, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
I am taking it upon myself to be the representative of the Wikipedia policy that forbids the posting of personal information. "It's unacceptable and a blockable offense for posting." Follow through on that, would you please? BenBurch and others have been busy all morning. If you do not stop them, they will only escalate this. Dino 17:19, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
If you want this matter to be resolved, without you being blocked and without the information being spread than your going to have to do this without edit warring, reverting established editors and without sniping at people. — Moe 17:27, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
That is precisely what I am trying to do sir. Right here, right now. Without edit warring, reverting established editors (except when they violate the policy you've just acknowledged) and without sniping at people. I have stopped trying to enforce the policy that you acknowledged should be enforced with blocks, and I've come to you.
Now please. Do something about it. Dino 17:30, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
Rome wasn't built in a day. I'm happy to help you, but you must cooperate with me and others. First off, I need who you are speaking about (whose name you're trying to oversight) to be on Wikipedia. — Moe 17:35, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Please check your e-mail. You have more than enough information to take the necessary action. Thank you for your kind attention to this matter. Dino 17:41, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

I will reply on e-mail to avoid WP:BEANS. — Moe 17:44, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Nirvana (band)[edit]

Please stop what you are doing. The consensus is widespread that the Seattle band belongs at Nirvana (band) and that the disambiguation properly directs people to the UK band. (This move is certainly not "non-controversial".) -- ChrisB 06:34, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

There is more than one band named Nirvana, Nirvana from American and The UK band). Feel free to discuss this, but I beleive this change would most defiently satisfy our guidelines on disambiguation. Nirvana (band) is anything should be a disamb. for the two bands or a redirect. — Moe 06:41, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
Problem #1: the name you chose does not follow Wiki guidelines. The correct title for what you are trying to accomplish is Nirvana (US band). If you go to that article and check its history, you'd notice that this has been attempted before and was immediately reverted.
Problem #2: this was not a non-controversial move as dictated by guidelines. The most responsible action would have been to consult with the editors of the article before attempting a move.
No move like this, particularly with a FEATURED ARTICLE, should be attempted by a lone editor on a whim. There should have been discussion prior to it happening. (Had the title's disambiguation been an issue, it certainly would have been discussed during the FA process.) -- ChrisB 06:53, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
Discuss this on the talk page and move it appropriatly after consensus is formed once again. But you can't deny the fact that there is two Nirvana's and this disambiguation is nessecary. One can't be Nirvana (band) and the other one be Nirvana (UK band) and expect disambiguation to be the best it can be. The UK band could in theory take the same title as Nirvana the Washington band and it still would have been correct. Disambiguation is meant to be clear enough so viewers (not editors) of this site can easily navigate it without confusion (not the only reason for DAB though). I'm going off-line now. — Moe 07:03, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Episodes of D:TNG[edit]

I appricate your hard work on these articles. But there seems to be a problem. The many red-links you provided on the episode guide seems to bring trolling editors to create non-sense pages or poorly created ones. Since you seem to be the one doing a fine job creating the articles, I was going to inform you of this. I am filling all the red-links to a redirect to List of Degrassi: The Next Generation episodes until you get the time to create the articles to their best. Whenever you come upon on that has been redirected by me, feel free to revert and start writing the articles. Contact me if you have any questions or need any help. Cheers! — Moe 02:35, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Season 1 seems fine and especially like the length and depth of Mother and Child Reunion, Part 1 (D:TNG episode). Try to make all of them like this if you could :) — Moe 05:13, 8 March 2007 (UTC) 02:51, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Ok it's fine. I didn't even notice that some where being created. Anyways, I linked it in the episode guide since I planned to create the pages later on so the redirects are fine. -- Xallium 12:53, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

At least one user..[edit]

Is liable to disagree with your addition. (Netscott) 03:39, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

So every word that Jimbo Wales should be taken as the words of God? Even Jimbo is human, and I know he wouldn't agree with the spamming issue.. — Moe 03:42, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
No actually in my book WP:JIMBOSAID logic is pretty weak. But I thought it notable just the same. (Netscott) 03:44, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Of course his opinion is put on the near-top of the list, so to speak (come on, he's Jimbo :p), but he can make mistakes :( I'm not saying it's Jimbo's fault, but sometimes his lack of activity on Wikipedia is key to him missing some of the little issues that spark up into bigger ones.. — Moe 03:48, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Before I leave entirely, I wanted to let you know that BB0 has gone insane. Peace, -- The Hybrid 05:33, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Well, I haven't trusted him since the thing about the Triple Crown Championship personally. — Moe 05:41, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
See the thread at WP:ANI to see what I think he is up to. I'll be here for a little while. Peace, -- The Hybrid 05:43, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
Yeh, I just read that WP:AN/I thread. By some of his comments on his [Metro's] talk page he sounds like a over-enthusiastic Metal Gear Solid fan, and he mixes pro wrestling into the bunch *creep factor increases as those are some of my favorite things* — Moe 05:50, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I made a comment to him before about how Wikipedia isn't Tactical Espionage Action, but to no avail. I predict a block in his future. Too bad, but deserved. Peace, -- The Hybrid 05:56, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
Alright, time for me to go to bed. See you on the 21st, assuming the ship doesn't sink. Peace, -- The Hybrid 05:57, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Don't die on me Snake; I'm counting on you to keep Wikipedia from being overrun by Metal Gear VAN while I'm gone. Peace, -- The Hybrid 08:12, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Konstable[edit]

Moe, I don't think there is any current issue with Konstable's editing. Can I suggest that you avoid initiating interaction with him (and vice versa). Thanks and regards, Newyorkbrad 22:21, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Super Bowl XLI[edit]

Hi Moe Epsilon,

I moved the Dolphin Stadium section located in Background to a new subsection called Dolphin Stadium Trivia in the belief that that is a more appropriate location. I suspect that it others might have removed the material because of its location. I do think that the information is appropriate, however.

Take care,

Larry --Lmcelhiney 12:55, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Dean Fiske[edit]

Mr. Epsilon,

I'm not sure if you've been notified, however your article Dean Fiske has been proposed for deletion as a non notable wrestler. You may want to improve on the article, such as providing references, or speaking to the nominator before its deadline. MadMax 06:12, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

User:MoosePlex[edit]

Keep an eye on that user. While he hasn't made many edits, nor vandalized, I fear that it may be my nephew borrowing a computer that he hasn't gotten blocked yet. Peace, -- The Hybrid 05:08, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

It may not be, as my nephew isn't a wrestling fan, but the name is strange enough for me to wonder. Peace, -- The Hybrid 05:09, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, -- The Hybrid 06:27, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
