Your AfD nominations
[edit]A couple things.
First of all, it doesn't look like you've included any of your nominations on the AfD log (see the instructions at WP:AFD). If you need assistance, I can certainly help you with that.
Second, you might want to consider slowing down, just a bit, with the nominations. I just don't think that deluging AfD is a good idea. But that's just personal opinion. -Chunky Rice 00:07, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- I was told there's a bot who would add the AfD nominations to the Deletion Log--Moglex 00:09, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- Hehe, when I was told that, I had know idea what "AfD" or "Deletion Log" meant --Moglex 00:09, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- consider slowing down
- Seconded. Most of them are well-deserved, but it's always worth Googling first to check if something is merely personally unfamilar. Gordonofcartoon 04:09, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- I hear you --Moglex 17:54, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
AFDs
[edit]Please place the AFD template at the top of the nominated article per the directions at WP:AFD. Also, please consult WP:N and related policies and do some preliminary research before making your nominations. Propaniac 15:05, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- A second comment, consider the speedy and prod processes also. Seems from your recent efforts that what you are proposing for deletion will either be soundly contested (eg: former professional sportsmen) or not (eg: piss-ant takeaway shops).
- Also, avoid comments like "prod this bastard" in your edit summaries.Garrie 04:49, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- Moglex shall henceforth increase the proddings --Moglex 17:54, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

AFDs (continued)
[edit]Please avoid AfD summaries like "This is all bullshit" and "A small tiny running race in a small crappy village", regardless of how bad the articles are. Thanks. ELIMINATORJR 10:10, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
Hello, I just wanted to inform you that I moved your AfD of Inkha to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Inkha, and it looks like it is properly listed now. I hope you don't mind that I moved your signature and datestamp so that they are now visible. Editing (as opposed to just commenting on) AfDs is new to me, so I hope everything is finally OK. Happy editing, --Kyoko 13:25, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- Weird, I didn't notice it. Thanks, and no problem --Moglex 13:26, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, the original AfD was listed as Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lacks notability - being on Blue Peter doesn't make someone notable, no evidence the appearance in newspaper/magazine was vast. which I would probably never have seen if I hadn't looked at "Recent changes" at just the right time. --Kyoko 13:30, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Haven Riney
[edit]An article that you have been involved in editing, Haven Riney, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Haven Riney. Thank you. Optigan13 02:53, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Moglex! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 676 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Moglex. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Moglex~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
