Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Disability flag, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. jp×g 09:48, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.

If you would like to help us improve this process, please consider leaving us some feedback.

Thanks again, and happy editing!

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I've noticed that lately you've been adding quite a few links, many of which are the type that are discouraged by Wikipedia's manual of style -- see MOS:OL. Give that a look so you better understand the sorts of terms that should be linked. Thanks! Calliopejen1 (talk) 22:00, 8 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

B Unnikrishnan (Academic) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, B Unnikrishnan (Academic), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Teahouse talkback: you've got messages!

[edit]
Hello, Mtpos. Your question has been answered at the Teahouse Q&A board. Feel free to reply there!
Please note that all old questions are archived after 2-3 days of inactivity. Message added by David Biddulph (talk) 15:51, 2 October 2021 (UTC). (You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{teahouse talkback}} template).[reply]

Hello. I noticed your comment at this AFD. You flatly contradicted the previous comment which outlined the result of a search for sources and so rudely ignored the other editor's contribution. In future, please make sure you read and understand the entire discussion before taking part. You may wish to return to the AFD to apologise and amend your entry? Thank you. I thought this person was someone else. I have removed the comment now. Thanks for pointing out. I will be more careful from now on. I am new at AFD Mtpos (talk) 14:23, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Mtpos. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:Allen Career Institute, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. McClenon mobile (talk) 19:22, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi McClenon mobile, I was a student with them many years ago. I was trying find some information about them one day which is when I saw that they didn't have a page. Does being ex-student count? I have no other relationship with them apart from the fact that I studied there. Honestly, I didn't even get to the IIT (which was my main goal) and had a mixed experience. But let me know if this would count as COI and what I should do in this case. Thank you for your guidance. Mtpos (talk) 19:07, 21 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
