Re:Copyright Question

[edit]

I didn't actually put the copyvio notice on the article; I only blanked the text as per the instructions. User:Gray Porpoise would probably be able to answer your question better than I, as s/he is the one who initially tagged the article. ... discospinster talk 02:42, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your response. Appreciate it. Munindra 05:09, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I read your message. While I don't think I have the authority to restore the contents of the article, I left a message on its talk page stating that it's not a copyright violation. Thank you for your civility. --Gray Porpoise 15:08, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your prompt response and assistance with the issue. Munindra 15:53, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
While you're waiting for a reply to your emails, you can write a new version of your article at the temporary subpage that the copyvio template links to. Here are some suggestions to make the new version more encyclopedic:
  • Use a more formal tone, avoiding things such as figurative language (i.e. "A web of seamless relationships is being woven...").
  • Cite your sources in the form of references[1] and external links[1].
  • Organize the article into sections, leaving an introduction instead of heading the entire page with a section.

I commend you for your contributions! Please be patient while waiting for your emails to be answered, and keep in mind that it's not a good idea to copy web pages directly into your article. Thank you. --Gray Porpoise 21:37, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Buzzoop

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Buzzoop, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Buzzoop is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Buzzoop, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
