The article Bryan Herb has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

One of the article's main contributor is the user "Bryan Herb" which happens to be who the article in question is about

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. COI, advertising, and welcome[edit]

Nancy, first, welcome to Wikipedia. As a fellow Oregonian, we're happy to have you here.

Second, please read Wikipedia's policy on conflict of interest. It isn't against the rules to edit an article you are personally vested in, but it is important to be honest and maintain a neutral point of view on the articles. Do you work for Bryan Herb and/or Zoom Vacations? Many editors with a COI put it right on their user page to make it clear they aren't hiding their intentions; that is the recommended thing to do, actually.

Let me know if I can help. I assume you've seen WP:YFA? tedder (talk) 04:13, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
