2018 Thomas & Uber Cup

[edit]

Hi, I have gone ahead and removed background colour as per WP:ACCESS. This should be avoided where ever possible, and in the case of the standings we can use the medal templates to indicate the medallists. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 14:56, 27 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Ncboss,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether 2018 Asian Girls' U17 Volleyball Championship squads should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2018 Asian Girls' U17 Volleyball Championship squads .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Template:Vb res 7 should be modified.

[edit]

Hi, When I use "Template:Vb res 7". I found the total score of right team always -5 scores. like that, (total score should be 98-70)

Date Time Venue Score Set 1 Set 2 Set 3 Set 4 Set 5 Total Report
1 Jan 10:00 Hall 1 England  3–1  Japan 25–10 25–20 23–25 25–15   98–70

I dont' know how about it and I can't edit it because I don't have more knowledge about wiki. I see, you are last edit so I tell you to fix it.

An article you recently created, 2018–19 Women's Volleyball Thailand League, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Notice

The article 2018 Korea–Thailand Pro Volleyball All-Star Super Match has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A single exhibition volleyball match, with insufficient coverage to suggest that it is unusually notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. power~enwiki (π, ν) 18:54, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. File permission problem with File:KICE.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:KICE.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Paul_012 (talk) 16:57, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on 2019 Women's Volleyball Thailand Super League squads requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Template:Draft:Infobox Asian Games sport. When you were adding content to the page, you added duplicate arguments to a template which can cause issues with how the template is rendered. In the future, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find these errors as they will display in red at the top of the page. Thanks! An article you recently created, Beach soccer at the 2019 World Beach Games, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Hello, Ncboss. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "2018 AFF Championship statistics".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bids for the 2026 Winter Olympics, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sion (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Speedy deletion nomination of Coronation of Vajiralongkorn

[edit]

Hello Ncboss,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Coronation of Vajiralongkorn for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

A tag has been placed on Category:2019 in muaythai requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Help

[edit]

Hi, I saw you made edits on some "Muay Thai" pages, so I thought maybe it doesn't hurt to ask you something. I created and completed articles about all events at the Asian Indoor Games. but one of them Muay Thai at the 2005 Asian Indoor Games is incomplete. I was wondering if you know a way to find the complete results ? I know this is very unlikely. but at least can you find the name of Welterweight gold medalist in Wai-Khru from Thailand ? I couldn't find the name despite searching a lot. thanks in advance. Mohsen1248 (talk) 21:16, 23 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, 2019 FIVB Women's Beach Volleyball Intercontinental Olympic Qualification Tournament, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello, Ncboss. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Children of Asia International Sport Games".

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!

[edit]

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!

A tag has been placed on Category:2018 Asian Games rugby sevens templates requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Unspecified source/license for File:Seal of EEC.svg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Seal of EEC.svg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 05:46, 14 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. File permission problem with File:Patama Leeswadtrakul in Lausanne-17 January 2020.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Patama Leeswadtrakul in Lausanne-17 January 2020.jpg, which you've attributed to http://www.sat.or.th/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/83618817_2716669428447294_4444107750430998528_o-840x560.jpg.

If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

Thank you.
