Regarding edits to Terrence Howard[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, NewEra21! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule thesportsinterview\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 23:13, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Answer to your question[edit]

Generally speaking, adding links to one's own website into articles is frowned upon. As I'm sure you can imagine, a lot of individuals and businesses have attempted to increase their web traffic by putting their links into articles. A lot of editors don't think articles need a lot of external links to begin with. See WP:EL for more info. If you do have the text of interviews that you conducted with the subjects of articles, I'd suggest posting the link, with a brief explanation, onto the talk page of the article. (Acessible by clicking the tab marked "discussion" at the top of the page. Other editors might decide the link is useful, or not, someone might want to use it as a citation -- or perhaps not. Either way, you'll have the opportunity to offer this information for use, without posting your website into articles. Cheers. Dina 21:05, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
