Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Album Infobox

[edit]

Please do not add the age template to album infobox. The age template is only needed for a living person infobox. Please see Template:Infobox album for more information. Thank you. Raritydash (talk) 19:46, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Goodbye Lullaby. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. You are still continuing to add the age template to album infobox despite ignoring the guidelines. Please see the article that I messaged earlier and linked above and please refrain from this action. Thank you. Raritydash (talk) 20:02, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Startdate and age

[edit]

Please stop adding these templates to album infoboxes. Template:Infobox album asks people to use {{startdate}}. The age addition adds nothing to an article. It is not standard practise and would need discussion first before it could be adopted. Please remove any other additions of the template. ≫ Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 18:22, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Susan Jennifer Sullivan has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. Draft article restored

[edit]

Nida Suryani, I've moved the article back to draft space. It would never have been accepted as a draft in its current state and should not have been created in article space. You appear to have a conflict of interest here, so please ensure you are editing in accordance with our policies and guidelines regarding living persons, reliable sourcing and the criteria for inclusion. @Praxidicae:, is there an AfC template that should be added to the draft to identify it as such?-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 17:57, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Titanic (1997 film), did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please explain why you're inserting non-prinicpal characters into the Cast section without any real-world information. I would typically just ask that you provide an edit summary, but I see you were advised about that in June. DonIago (talk) 04:32, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Titanic (1997 film); that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. DonIago (talk) 14:46, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Susan Jennifer Sullivan

[edit]

Hello, Nida Suryani. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Susan Jennifer Sullivan".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Image tagging for File:Ita Martadinata Enchanted Photo.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ita Martadinata Enchanted Photo.jpeg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 07:30, 11 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Ita Martadinata Enchanted Photo.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Information icon Hello, I'm Geniac. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. Madhumita G Das moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Madhumita G Das, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Singularity42 (talk) 18:31, 17 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Madhumita G Das has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not ready for mainspace yet due to lack of reliable sources supporting notability. I've already moved the prior version to Draft:Madhumita G Das for the author to work on, but they recreated it again here.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of Madhumita G Das for deletion

[edit]
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Madhumita G Das is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Madhumita G Das until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.

Why didn't you use the draft?

[edit]

I'm a bit confused by this edit summary. I totally get you need more time to put the article together. Which is why I moved it as a Draft so you could work on it until it was ready to be a proper article. But instead of working on the draft, you just created the article again in the main article space. When I PROD'd it (and pointed again to the link to the draft), you removed the tag without making substantive improvements to the article, and still didn't touch the draft version. Anyway, it is where it is now, and before the AfD, which is a seven-day process usually. But I just don't get why you didn't work on it in Draft-space, especially after I moved the first version there for you... Singularity42 (talk) 19:12, 17 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'll add on support for what Singularity42 said. Draft space is the right place to work on articles, especially when there are some obvious notability issues - WP:NACTOR and WP:GNG and the current sourcing is very lacking. For one, please don't use IMDB as a source, it's not considered reliable (read more at WP:CITEIMDB). What's needed are multiple sources with significant coverage that help show she's had significant roles on multiple shows or won a notable award for her performance. Right now, from the searching I did, I think it's just WP:TOOSOON for an article. Ravensfire (talk) 20:05, 17 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tuan Guru Haji Ahmad requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
