Speedy deletion of The Becker-Posner Blog[edit]

A tag has been placed on The Becker-Posner Blog requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Scapler (talk) 20:08, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Groklaw (moved from user page)[edit]

Saw your comments about the bias in the Groklaw article. It was pretty bad. I've done what is in essence a complete re-write, and would like your comments. UrbanTerrorist 03:03, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Changes to Lindblad equation[edit]

Can you please review the recent changes at Lindblad equation and revert or correct them as necessary? Rl (talk) 10:18, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, the changes are good. The missing daggers were a blatant mistake on my part. The leading minus sign is purely a matter of convention, and I couldn't care less. Njerseyguy (talk) 15:36, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I see now that the minus sign convention has been changed (by 129.206.196.212), and then changed back (by 220.255.7.156). As I said, I don't really care; both are correct. Njerseyguy (talk) 15:39, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! Rl (talk) 19:37, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion nomination of Talk:Choi's theorem on completely positive maps[edit]

blanked page
blanked page

Hi Njerseyguy, this is a message from an automated bot, regarding Talk:Choi's theorem on completely positive maps. You blanked the page and, since you are its sole author, FrescoBot has interpreted it as a request for deletion of the page and asked administrators to satisfy the requests per speedy deletion criterion G7. Next time you want a page that you've created deleted, you can explicitly request the deletion by inserting the text {{db-author}}. If you didn't want the page deleted, please remove the {{db-author}} tag from the page and undo your blanking or put some content in the page. Admins are able to recover deleted pages. Please do not contact the bot operator for issues not related with bot's behaviour. To opt out of these bot messages, add {{bots|deny=FrescoBot}} somewhere on your talk page. -- FrescoBot (msg) 00:43, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, this was a mistake. I guess it's already been fixed. Sorry if that messed anyone up. Njerseyguy (talk) 19:09, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Razzle (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — Timneu22 · talk 17:01, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
