Nobleeagle, what is all this ? I hope you are only on a break and will soon come back. Tintin 06:48, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, please tell us what exactly is happening and why you are doing it. It is will be a big shame if you had to go. GizzaChat © 06:53, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey!! What happened? - Aksi_great (talk) 11:40, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Gosh, I'm sorry to see this. Do reconsider—you are an outstanding editor and it would be a pity to lose you. Whatever your decision, for whatever reasons it was made, it has been good working with you. Hope to see you around again sometime.
Best wishes, Xdamrtalk 12:03, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hope to see you back here sooner rather than later. If you ever need help resolving a conflict on Wikipedia let me know.—Perceval 01:06, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions[edit]

Hello Noble. I think that you requested a block as you were unable to give time to other issues of your life or may be you were getting a little perturbed at happenings here. I am just making a guess and it may be far away from your reason to request for getting blocked. In case, you feel that you do not want to edit here for some time, it is normal and for this a self-requested block is not required. Please make a request for lifting the block and please be around once in a while - please take a wiki-rest, and come back with new thoughts and energy. Please remain a part of the Project, and please reconsider your decision. All the best! --Bhadani 15:40, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Some people has a tendency to drive away other editors as they feign to be master of certain topics and such wikipedians are the greatest threat to the Project in its emergence to its full potentials. This is a random thought based on my feelings as people tried to drive me away for months but I continued to hang on with tenacity though I stopped actively contributing due to a variety of reasons. --Bhadani 15:46, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

yep, Noble listen to Bhadani... dont let dab chase you off wikipedia. I must point you out to a lil' message you left on my talk page months ago that spurred me to return to wiki, [1]. Role reversal of sorts! Dude, take a wiki break and comeback. The project needs you. A real Khatri never raises the white flag before "the enemy" (pardon the euphemism, it flies in the face of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:NOT#Wikipedia_is_not_a_battleground )...

I do sincerely hope that you return to us... Amey Aryan DaBrood© 20:25, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok... now i get the picture. I agree the whole matter is serious. Infact some nutjob ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/216.75.2.64 ) put up my personal info on my userpage. Though i've always been a bit careless about my true identity, it appears that my address was gleaned off from MySpace. I got my userpage deleted. You ofcourse must have your reasons for keeping your identity a secret, i do hope hope you come back in a new avatar after a wikibreak ofcourse. If there is anything i can do for you, then feel free to email me: ambrood_at_gmail.com. Amey Aryan DaBrood© 15:19, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Although the information was flawed, the fact that someone was trying to identify me did contribute to my decision. It appears that Damareinu has a habit of trying to work out people's real life personalities and has attacked other useful contributors as well... There are, however, actually other factors that also contributed to my decision. I appreciate the concern of everyone here, but this was a decision I have made and I'm not going to be changing the decision anytime soon. Nobleeagle [TALK] [C] 02:12, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
it's a shame you are gone. less cojones now.--D-Boy 07:09, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Observations[edit]

I got alerted of the fact that Lage Raho Munna Bhai, an article which I worked on a lot, is on the road to FA promotion so I thought I'd just come back and write my congratulations (if anyone can convey them) to Dwaipayanc and Classicfilms, for doing what I couldn't. Great job! The article's brilliant and deserves to be the first Bollywood film to appear on the main page. :) Nobleeagle [TALK] [C] 02:24, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've unblocked you. You can tell them yourself -- Samir 02:27, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thankyou. Nobleeagle [TALK] [C] 03:44, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
And my congratulations, Nobleeagle. Lage Raho Munna Bhai is now an FA.--thunderboltz(TALK) 05:06, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your congratulations - and thanks for your past contributions to the article. -Classicfilms 05:34, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's nice to see you back in wikipedia. I've sent an email to Samir asking for something. Samir may contact you. Lage Raho.. is FA now. Three cheers for Gandhigiri ! --Dwaipayan (talk) 06:07, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Its nice that you returned back. Good works guys, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, the first Indian film to become a FA. Congrats and thanks for support. Amartyabag TALK2ME 07:08, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey hey hey...hold it...I'm not fully returning or anything, I just noticed this and decided to offer my congratulations, Samir unblocked me or I was hoping that someone would just point Dwaipayanc and Classicfilms to my message. Particularly after seeing the state of things on my watchlist, I don't really think it's worth it. As I said before, my decision to leave was complex and a result of long thinking, with many factors weighing in, most of those factors still weigh in. If I make any edits it wld probably be working on cricket or movies or something, away from the controversy. Regards Nobleeagle [TALK] [C] 08:01, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Welcome back for a short while at least :). As a suggestion, even if it takes a long time, you may want to "unwatch" every controversial article. I am going to do the same once the most recent and hopefully last arbitration is over. And I second Dwaipayan's Gandhigiri's comment. Good to see you back mate! GizzaChat © 08:37, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Actually just click Special:Watchlist/clear to start afresh. Every page will be removed. GizzaChat © 08:41, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good to see you around again :) --Xdamrtalk 12:12, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good to see you around. Do keep popping up like this. :) - Aksi_great (talk) 12:17, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
As a reply to DaGizza. It reminds me of Lage Raho Munna Bhai actually. I remember a quote from Circuit: "Bapu ayenge, desh ki haalat dekhenge phir vaapas chalejayenge" (or something to that extent). The idea of more Arbcom affairs, including ones where personal identities and private emails are exposed, isn't an encouraging sign. Nobleeagle [TALK] [C] 04:46, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Noble! There are both encouraging and discouraging signs everywhere! Please remain here. If needed, start afresh. Do some Gandhigiri! Have a look at the purely encyclopedic aspects...see, the way India project is churning out FAs! Isn't it great? Have a look at the Wikipedia:WikiProject India/Featured and good content, isn't it good to see? Well, Classicfilms and I were having talks whether Gandhigiri itself can be improved. Have a look at the article and its talk page.
Regarding Main page request for LRMB, there is a problem. Lack of free images. What do you think?--Dwaipayan (talk) 04:55, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Are You back? Great things are happening with the cricket project; such as we just had a big FA drive where we got about 4 or 5 articles up to FA and it's still going. Although, you're greatly missed in articles such as list of world cup records etc. which isn't maintained like it was use to be by you.--THUGCHILDz 04:40, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spiffier triple crown, new awards available[edit]

The standard triple crown.

Hi, I've been sprucing up the triple crown awards. Here's the new version of the standard triple crown you've already earned. Feel free to replace your old one with this if you like the new version better. I've also introduced two new triple crown awards for editors who've done a lot of triple crown work: the Napoleonic and Alexander the Great edition awards. If you're active in a WikiProject, check out the new offer for custom WikiProject triple crowns. I'll make those upon request if five or more editors qualify. See User:Durova/Triple crown winner's circle for more information. Thanks for your hard work, and cheers! DurovaCharge! 21:59, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Rajnath Singh.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Rajnath Singh.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:04, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tripura cricket team requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. PaoloNapolitano 14:45, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject India Tag & Assess 2012 Contest[edit]

Hello friends, we are a number of editors from WikiProject India have got together to assess the many thousands of articles under the stewardship of the project, and we'd love to have you, a fellow member, join us. These articles require assessment, that is, the addition of a WikiProject template to the talk page of an article, assessing it for quality and importance and adding a few extra parameters to it.

As of March 11, 2012, 07:00 UTC, WikiProject India has 95,998 articles under its stewardship. Of these 13,980 articles are completely unassessed (both for class and importance) and another 42,415 articles are unassessed for importance only. Accordingly, a Tag & Assess 2012 drive-cum-contest has begun from March 01, 2012 to last till May 31, 2012.

If you are new to assessment, you can learn the minimum about how to evaluate from Part One of the Assessment Guide. Part Two of the Guide will help you learn to employ the full functionality of the talk page template, should you choose to do so.

You can sign up on the Tag & Assess page. There are a number of awards to be given in recognition of your efforts. Come & join us to take part in this exciting new venture. You'll learn more about India in this way.

Proposed deletion of Himachal Pradesh cricket team[edit]

The article Himachal Pradesh cricket team has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Hello, Nobleeagle. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "India as an emerging superpower".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|User:Nobleeagle/India as an emerging superpower}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Joseph2302 (talk) 23:13, 3 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
