There do not seem to be any references for the material in this article. I saw that you created it. Could you specify your sources in a new References section. Thanx.

Fair use rationale for Image:Aic school logo.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Aic school logo.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.Betacommand (talkcontribsBot) 02:31, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:Aic school logo.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Aic school logo.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 02:31, 28 May 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.Betacommand (talkcontribsBot) 02:31, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Shogi question

[edit]

Hi Oklahoman,

I have a question about shogi. At Ko shogi, someone asked about the promotion of the 記室 Clerk, on how many guards promote with it. (There are two 前衛 Advance Guards and two 後衛 Rear Guards.) My Japanese is not good enough to tell.

The relevant Japanese text (from Japanese wikipedia) is:

記室が軍師に成ったとき、同時に前衛と後衛も成る。ただし、記室は敵陣に入っても前衛と後衛の両方が敵陣に入っていなければ成れない。

Now, does 前衛と後衛の両方 mean 前衛の両方と後衛の両方, or does in mean 前衛の1個と後衛の1個?

Also, when it says 前衛と後衛も成る, I assume it means all four 前衛と後衛?

Thank you for your help! kwami (talk) 02:07, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

(It's been a while, so I'm going to ask others and take you off my watch list. But feel free to join in on the talk page. — kwami (talk) 23:16, 19 January 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer be able to have them marked as minor by default. For more information on what a minor edit is, see WP:MINOR or feel to get in touch.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 20:09, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
