Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Bernard Bate has been reverted.
Your edit here to Bernard Bate was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVFxJOMsQvo) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Request reason:

The content which I have added without proper contribution to the page "Umblachery", Leads to the copyright violation. I've failed to mention the approval from the source www.nativebreed.org, Kidly revoke the account and help me to fix my issues. Organic2000 (talk) 08:43, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

In order to lift the block, we need to be certain that you understand how copyright works on Wikipedia. To allow the reviewing administrator to assess your understanding, please respond to the following questions in your next unblock appeal, explaining in your own words:

  • What is copyright?
  • How is Wikipedia licenced?
  • Why is copyrighted content not allowed on Wikipedia?
  • Under what circumstances can we use copyrighted content?
  • How do you intend to avoid violating the copyright policy in the future?

Your answers will enable us to establish whether or not you should be unblocked. Yamla (talk) 11:22, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Additionally, to provide that nativebreed.org has released the content, please have them update the copyright notice on their website to indicate the content is released to the public domain, or otherwise that it is released under either of CC BY-SA 3.0 License or the GFDL. --Yamla (talk) 11:22, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

1. What is copyright? copyright is a legal term that gives ownership over the things created by the creator. Be it a painting, a photograph, literature, music or a novel the ownership belongs to the original creator.

2. How is Wikipedia licenced?

Every content which is contributed in Wikipedia must be released under CC-BY-SA, also the contributor should be acknowledged via the backlink to the source. Most of the texts are dually licenced under GFDL.

3. Why is copyrighted content not allowed on Wikipedia? Wikipedia's goal is used to publish and redistribute the information under CC BY-SA and GFDL, using the content that infringes the copyrights of the third party will create legal liabilities and seriously hurt Wikipedia.

4. Under what circumstances can we use copyrighted content? The copyrighted content from the non-public domain should be contributed to Wikipedia with proper permission from the copyright holder, this will be permitted as for legal to use on Wikipedia.

Else it the same will be considered as the copyright policy violation.

Palgramised text from the non-permitted source may also consider as a copyright violation.

And by providing the proper contribution, the own content or the information from the public domain (non copyrighted content) can be used. 5. How do you intend to avoid violating the copyright policy in the future? Actually, for comfort, I've planned to use the text contents from my blogs or public domain with proper source link and attributes. In the case of Images, here then ill use only my photos or images.

As per your suggestion, I requested nativebreed.org to update the policy, and they have updated the same in their disclaimer page. Link added for your reference. https://www.nativebreed.org/disclaimer/ Organic2000 (talk) 18:47, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for answering those questions in your new unblock request, Organic2000. Please answer these too:
  • why were the additions you made to Alambadi and Umblachery unacceptable?
  • in what other pages have you copied content from non-free external sources into Wikipedia?
If your answers to those questions show understanding of our copyright policy, I am inclined to unblock your account. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 19:20, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

1.why were the additions you made to Alambadi and Umblachery unacceptable? -The source websites maybe not have copyright police as per the wekipedias terms(CC BY-SA or GFDL).

2.in what other pages have you copied content from non-free external sources into Wikipedia? Ponwar cattle Ongole cattle Mewati cattle ‎ Malnad Gidda Krishna Valley Kasaragod Dwarf cattle Gyr cattle ‎ Pulikulam are some of the pages where I've used the content from the single source nativebreed.org, previously this website copyright police is not as per the Wikipedias terms(CC BY-SA or GFDL).Organic2000 (talk) 21:46, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Q-What about pages where you copied from other sources?

A-Yes, as mentioned earlier there are different pages which I've contributed earlies was violed the Wikipedia copyright policy terms.

Wiki Pages:(Ponwar cattle, Ongole cattle, Mewati cattle, ‎ Malnad Gidda, Krishna Valley, Kasaragod Dwarf cattle, Gyr cattle, ‎ Pulikulam, Makkal Needhi Maiam, Alambadi, Bargur, Kamal Haasan filmography, Umblacherry, Keezadi, Ongole, Dhivyadharshini, M. R. Radha, Bernard Bate & Udukai)

While contributing In all above-mentioned pages, I've failed to add the sources in some cases and mainly failed to check the qualification of the copyright policy of those websites. I've understood these two are the main reasons for the administrator's action, being clear with the Polices now I make sure be a good contributor. Thank you! Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.
