Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only you. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline. Request reason:

Hi there, i understand the reason behind such a block, however, in terms of a programming language, it is impossible for someone that is not a developer of the language to provide information about the language and how to program with it (such as samples), especially a language that is so young, so without people being given knowledge from the creators, how is it possible that wikipedia can contain "real" knowledge and not just some guesses from third party? note that OverHertz is and has been my username for a long time (yes it is also the name of the company i work at; but this is besides the point, since i am providing the public information and knowledge that does not already exist on wikipedia) i also planned to update other articles over time, unrelated to this article, in all i do not see the conflict of interest, i am not advertising or spamming wikipedia with a company name. I am just providing factual information. Thanks in advance for your time.

Decline reason:

You don't seem to understand that using a company name is against our policy WP:USERNAME. Articles on Wikipedia are not 'how-to' features - you should not try to educate people in using this language here. I also fail to understand why only a developer of the language should be able to explain it. If so far only the developers know the language, it is too soon for it to have achieved any notability or significance anyway. We do want 'real' knowledge here, but it must have coverage and not be 'original research', which, I fear' might be the case here WP:OR. Peridon (talk) 16:30, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hi, thanks for your response, however to state i am using a company name as a user name would be incorrect, since the company name is named after my nick, so to deny the rights to use my user name is in-fact wrong, i am not going to go further into this after this reply, since personally i do not care and have decided not to further contribute to wikipedia and remove any links; and we have decided not to make any donations since the belief that wikipedia does not contain actual factual information, after today i can now imagine many other people have been denied to provide such useful information to wikipedia; the language is known, it is used and notable, however my point to get across is that; how can someone write factual information of something they do not know of, such information how the developer decided to write the language, additional information regarding it's existence that is not provided elsewhere or not common knowledge, how can people read up such facts; Thanks for your review, i did not want to use the unblock feature but i was unsure of another way of communication with the administrators - i do not require an unblock just want to be heard since i believe it is very wrong to deny a user rights when they are not actually advertising something or trying to sell something. If possible it would be nice if this can be passed on to the owner of wikipedia, since it is something that should be looked into further to help improve wikipedia. Thanks

Not an unblock request. --jpgordon::==( o ) 19:04, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just in case you are still watching - it doesn't matter which way the company and you got the name. They're the same - that's what counts. There isn't an 'owner' of Wikipedia. It's a community. The co-founder Jimmy Wales does have certain rights, but does not own Wikipedia. As to the point of 'only the developer', as I said, that is not encyclopaedic. In your case, the information most probably would be accurate, but if we cannot have independent confirmation of this, we cannot use it. An exaggerated example of why would be Dwayne Shurtarz claiming to have been elected as President of the Fairies following King Oberon's overthrow in a revolution. If neither can be verified WP:V, neither can be used. Both are WP:OR. One is true, bur unproven. The other, well, we'll wait for an announcement from the UN. Good luck with the development - I could never get my head round C in any form and stuck to COBOL which did what I needed to do. Peridon (talk) 10:57, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Ziron has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Lacks reliable independent secondary sources as required by WP:GNG. Googling failed to turn up anything useful and suggests that the required sources simply do not exist.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
