Well it's about time!!!!!!!![edit]

Are you here for a good time or a long time? I can't say much. I took a year+ off due to work commitments. Our nice little Guitarist Project has fallen into mediocrity. Are you up to getting back it back on track? A lot of old familiar names have long since given up on poor old Wiki. I am glad to see you back, even if it's just for a little while. Cheers and take care!Anger22 (Talk 2 22) 22:34, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A guitarist article in bad shape[edit]

If you have some spare editing time, the John Norum article is absolutely horrible. See: here. There is another editor (likely the non-English author) who keeps reverting the few minor corrections I've done to the lead-in section. A user named Wiki libs has also noted to poor quality of the page and tried to restore my edits but the other editor reverted them again. I could use your help. I do not know much of the subject other than his band (who are just a bubble-gum rock band with music geared for 12 year old girls) But still... he himself is a fairly respected guitar player and all guitarist articles deserve some quality no matter how bad their music is. Can you help? Anger22 (Talk 2 22) 10:45, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Survey on quality control policies[edit]

As part of a project funded by the European Commission (QLectives), we are collecting and analysing data to study quality control mechanisms and inclusion/deletion policies in Wikipedia. According to our records, you participated in a large number of AfD. We are currently soliciting editors with a long record of participation in AfD discussions to send us their feedback via a very informal survey.

The survey takes less than 5 minutes and is available at this URL. Should you have any questions about this project, feel free to get in touch.

Thanks for your help! --DarTar (talk) 10:44, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

I have recently proposed to merge Philosophical Institute into Palacký_University_of_Olomouc#Philosophy. Since you participated in the Discussion about the article's deletion, I would like to invite you to share your views on the proposed merger. Thank you very much. Water Water Every Hare corrections[edit]

Hello. Re my "vandalism" of the entry for the WB cartoon "Water Water Every Hare": I made corrections, & did not vandalize the entry. The mad scientist's voice is indeed an impression of Vincent Price, & the monster's name is NOT "Rudolph", but "Brudah", as even a cursory listen shows. The original author failed to research the cartoon thoroughly.

Your edits were original research [1] and you have a history of making those very same edits from different IP addresses; such behavior is considered vandalism. The monster in this cartoon is called "Rudolph" [2]. "Brudah" is your own interpretation of the name, it is not factual, and you may not inject that name into the article just because you think it is correct. That's not how Wikipedia works. Same goes for the Vincent Price impression, which is clearly your opinion, not fact. All entries must have verified, reliable sources. Please follow the rules and make constructive edits. Water Water Every Hare again[edit]

Hi. The fact that I've tried to make the corrections from different ip addresses only shows that I read Wikipedia at home & at work. And, frankly, if you'd bother to actually watch the cartoon & listen closely, you will see (& hear) that "Brudah" is not my interpretation of the monster's name, it is what the voice actor really says. The Vincent Price imitation in that cartoon is fairly well-documented, & I will cite those references the next time I care enough to try to correct the faulty information on the page. Thanks for your haughty attitude.108.2.152.35 (talk) 06:15, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Again, follow the rules and provide legitimate published sources for all info you add to articles...or your edits will be reverted. PJM (talk) 13:34, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
