About the images[edit]

Hi, I was about to dump the whole {{image source}} lecture on you, but you see you figured it out by the third image :)

I copied the info from Image:Becky3.jpg to the other two images, however seeing as all 3 are just different sized versions of the same image I suggest you just keep the larger of the set (Image:Becky.jpg and have the other two deleted. You can descide how big the image should be when used on a page using the image markup code, so there is no reason to keep a bunch of different sized versions of the same image. Just keep the bigger one (Note: This only apply to images with a free licence, if you plan on uploading copyrighted images later please read Wikipedia:Fair use carefully first) and scale it down to an apropriate size using the "code" explained in that link.

Oh and to have an image deleted you can either list it on WP:IFD, or request a speedy deletion if it fits one of the critereas mentioned on WP:CSD, in this case they do (redundant with another image (image/media #1)).

Have fun and happy editing :) --Sherool (talk) 17:07, 3 December 2005 (UTC)

Notability of Gordon mcdonald[edit]

A tag has been placed on Gordon mcdonald, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Improbcat 19:40, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
