notifying users of WP:CSD nominations

It is generally considered a polite good-faith gesture to notify users when you nominate a page they have created for speedy deletion, in order to give them the opportunity to correct the problem, or at least place a {{hangon}} tag on the article to indicate their objection to the deletion. This helps avoid biting the newcomers to a degree in that it gives them chance to participate, even if their article undeniably meets the standards to be speedy deleted. There are numerous user talk templates you can use for this purpose, and both WP:TWINKLE and WP:HUGGLE can do it for you if you use them to do your nominations. Re User:Benanderson19

No prob. I noticed the mis-tagging for speedy deletes and started looking into it. You and someone else seemed to have it in hand. If he starts up again, drop a line. It's practically a vandalism only account now and it won't take much more for me to block him for that. Cheers, Pigman☿/talk 20:31, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Eric Zaccar

Hello, Peridon/Archives/2009 … Just wanted to remind you: Do Not Feed the Trolls … the lack of WP:RS coverage of the subject should be enough to get this piece of vanispamcruftisement deleted Real Soon Now … at first I thought that they were directing their vitriol at me, so I respond on their talk page rather than pollute the discussion, but then I realized that they just were not smart enough to follow the links and find my websites. :-) Besides, they stopped using that account and came back as a new sockpuppet. <Sigh!>
