Fact[edit]

I'm not sure why there was a reversion to the change on the Fact page. It seems to add a relevant link and in fact restores it closer to a state is had several months ago. Xefer (talk) 18:32, 30 August 2011 (UTC)

Preview[edit]

I really like your topics, and the major edit or two I've checked, but the way you are editing in a series of "Peterdjones" has a cost that need not be bared. I'm not really sure if I have an actual complaint beyond this mention, but I am sure I'm writing to you in good personal reasoning.

The way I edit is preview alot, esp. near the aesthetic end-polish. But of greater importance is how I permit my browzer, through all manner of known constructive, destructive, and reconstructive computer-processes, to hold on for days unending, while others edit unbeknownst. I dislike edit conflicts, but I have actualized every type of possibility concerning the right kind of impact. — CpiralCpiral 18:28, 14 July 2011 (UTC)

September 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article English cuisine, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Logical Cowboy (talk) 01:18, 11 September 2011 (UTC)

Citations[edit]

Thank you for adding so much interesting information to the English cuisine page, but I notice that your contribution is lacking citations. The use of citations is a critical part of the Wikipedia model and uncited claims are liable to removal. It would be helpful if you could add these to support the claims you have made. Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources. Obscurasky (talk) 01:24, 11 September 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Christmas beer[edit]

A tag has been placed on Christmas beer, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Not a notable subject. Should be in the Beer page

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Wilbysuffolk Talk to me 18:19, 23 May 2012 (UTC)

Hungarian Roma music query[edit]

Hope you don't mind, but I noticed your interest in, and contributions to 'gypsy jazz', and wondered if you would be in a position to assist with a recent request at Talk:Roma in Hungary#Roma culture. Music, I'm afraid, is not my forte, but am willing to get involved if there was some knowledgeable editor who 'kicked things off'. Best. RashersTierney (talk) 12:09, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

Is the Block universe theory the same as Eternalism (philosophy of time)[edit]

Hello Peter. There has been a small dispute on the Eternalism talk page, which made its way to WP:AN3. Casting about for an experienced contributor who knew anything of these topics, I noticed you are the original creator of the redirect from Block universe to Eternalism. Is there any chance you could take a look at Talk:Eternalism (philosophy of time) and see if you could help sort this out? If you are too busy, no response is necessary. The dispute is apparently whether the block universe theory is the same as Eternalism. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 16:39, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

Hello.

Have you ever heard of Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:No original research?

One of your contributions did not verify against its associated source; the rest had none and were original research.

Best regards,
Codename Lisa (talk) 13:58, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

I have heard of these things, since I am a highly experience wikipedia editor. I am also aware that lack of refs is not the same thing as OR, and I am aware that none of my material is novel, since I am also a highly experienced software developer. Note that the old version of the lede that you reverted to contains an incomprehensible sentence, which is being objected to on the talk page.
1Z (talk) 14:34, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
Hi. Experienced developer you say? Well, I am Bill Gates himself, the best developer ever! See? Everyone can claim to be an experienced developer but the point is when you say "experienced developer", it means "I write from experience, not source" and that means original research. As for the talk page, its demands must comply with Wikipedia policies as well. There is no such thing as adding OR per talk page request.
Best regards,
