  1. Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! Can't sleep, clown will eat me 10:12, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

Please do not remove maintenance notices from pages unless the required changes have been made. If you are uncertain whether the page requires further work, or if you disagree with the notice, please discuss these issues on the page's talk page before removing the notice from the page. These notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an page. Thank you. Yanksox 18:32, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

Lee Hoiby[edit]

Hello, and thanks for leaving a message for me. The problem with the article Lee Hoiby was that it was essentially copied and pasted from a copyrighted source: someone else owns the rights to those words. Wikipedia can get into legal trouble for violating copyrights belonging to other people. I've removed the old article so you can get a fresh start. You miht want to be sure that if the title is Lee Hoiby, the bulk of the article is about the person, rather than the play. Joyous! | Talk 21:19, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
