March 2008[edit]

Information.svg Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Box. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Like the warning suggests, I didn't think what you did was vandalism. I just didn't see a good reason in your summary for why you removed it. No problem. Sorry for the confusion. Limonns (talk) 18:22, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Your pattern of edits suggests a conflict of interest in editing Wikipedia articles[edit]

Wikipedia is clear about corporate editing of articles. Do you have a conflict of interest? Flowanda | Talk 10:53, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Please be specific about your point. What are you trying to say? Pkgx (talk) 17:36, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
As an experienced editor, you should have no misunderstanding of what WP:COI or WP:SPAM means, so don't look to me for clarification or defence. Flowanda | Talk 03:17, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Box split[edit]

I take it from your handle that you're a packaging expert or some such. This does't mean you should assume a right to unilaterally restructure articles when you get pushback. On cardboard box, response to the talk page; if you feel a content split would be most appropriate, post the appropriate tag; if you don't know how, ask. Dicklyon (talk) 17:24, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

  • Yes, I have some expertise in this area. I am trying to make contributions to Wikipedia to improve the weak coverage of several subjects. Pkgx (talk) 22:44, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

BCT[edit]

As I can read you are a packaging expert. Me too; one of my weaknesses is my insufficient knowledge of the english language. Nevertheless I wanted to know why you did delete my reference about McKee and the correlation between BCT and the McKee-formular. Actually I wanted to complette the article with detailed onformation about that formular. Verpacker Ing. (talk) 11:44, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

I removed it temporarily while finding references. Pkgx (talk) 22:02, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

Advertising[edit]

Hi Pkgx! Just wondering what your reasons are for tagging Tape Wrangler with {{advert}}. I'd be happy to fix it (especially considering it's only two lines long), but I was wondering what areas you had a concern with. Thanks in advance, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 18:24, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

See WP:NOTADVERTISING Pkgx (talk) 18:28, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
What I mean is, what particular wording in the article is advertising? I'm just wondering what specifically I can do to fix it. Arbitrarily0 (talk) 18:42, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for your comment at Talk:Tape Wrangler. I have replied. Cheers, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 19:38, 24 September 2010 (UTC)

Education[edit]

Packaging and Labeling: Not sure why you deleted packaging degreed programs from PKG and labeling. These are not represented under PKG engineer as you stated. I really just do not understand why you would remove this. Important stuff, especially for researchers in the field. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rahurley (talkcontribs) 16:13, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Caps in refs[edit]

Hi, I don't mind your upcasing those titles again, but generally the practice is that title case can be downcased for an external link without there being an issue about changing an original. WP:MOS has a section on allowable typographical changes. Tony (talk) 15:43, 1 October 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the comment. These are formal names of documents that are capitalized by the standards organization. Wikipedia should not change them. Pkgx (talk) 16:59, 1 October 2011 (UTC)

Plastic Film[edit]

Thanks for creating the article, it's a good start. It's amazing it hadn't been done before. Enon (talk) 05:28, 10 May 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Tape gun[edit]

Hello Pkgx. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Tape gun, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: doesn't meet any CSD criteria IMO. Thank you. SmartSE (talk) 13:45, 25 May 2012 (UTC)

Invitation to wikiFeed[edit]

Hi Pkgx,

I'm part of a team that is researching ways to help Wikipedia editors find interesting content to contribute to Wikipedia. More specifically, we are investigating whether content from news sources can be used to enhance Wikipedia editing. We have created a tool, called wikiFeed, that allows you to specify Twitter and/or RSS feeds from news sources that are interesting to you. wikiFeed then helps you make connections between those feeds and Wikipedia articles. We believe that using this tool may be a lot of fun, and may help you come up with some ideas on how to contribute to Wikipedia in ways that interest you. Please participate! To do so, complete this survey and follow this link to our website. Once you're there, click the "create an account" link to get started.

For more information about wikiFeed, visit our project page. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask via my talk page, or by email at wikifeedcc@gmail.com. We appreciate your time and hope you enjoy playing with wikiFeed!

Thanks! Jeremey Bentham (talk) 19:47, 24 July 2012 (UTC)

Tin boxes, tin cans[edit]

Hi, just to let you know I've reverted your redirect on Tin box, and have explained my move on the talk page. I believe there is a significant difference between a tin can and a tin box, but invite further discussion as to the distinction between the two. Thanks! Horatio Snickers (talk) 18:56, 4 October 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Tin can may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
