From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello, Pol Fyodor. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Psychic World".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CptViraj (📧) 12:16, 1 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Pol Fyodor. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Pol Fyodor. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Pol Fyodor|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. GSS (talk|c|em) 09:44, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@GSS: Hello GSS. The nature of your comments is inappropriate. Unfounded and generally nosey, considering it is work in progress. No I'm not being paid to advocate this page. Why is that? What do you base this accusation on. I'm playing and trying to get familiar with creating profile pages. I decided to chose a colourful character I saw speak at a conference recently. In case you haven't noticed there is a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_American_Tobacco page... Which doesn't mean Wikipedia promotes tobacco or cancer. Or does it now? I would appreciate if you would retract your accusations and let me continue on my article / bio as I please. Thank you and good day to you. Pol Fyodor (talk) 13:38, 21 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@GSS: No reaction. Please confirm that you have read and understood so I can proceed to editing this bio. Thank you. Pol Fyodor (talk)

So you are claiming that you didn't create Draft:Craig Campbell in direct response to an advert he placed on Upwork? Yunshui  15:04, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Yunshui: Absolutely. Pol Fyodor (talk) 15:32, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Was trying to give you another chance to do the right thing there, but okay, you're going with straight-up denial. Sorry, but I don't believe timing as close as that can be a coincidence. You are blocked for violations of the paid editing policy. Yunshui  21:05, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for engaging in undisclosed paid editing.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

@Yunshui: Giving me a chance? Are you serious. Should I lie to make you happy? I DID NOT GET PAID TO START THIS PAGE. But I understand that there is an arbitrary tribunal that rules over the 'weather' and determines what is true. I'm shocked and appalled to be frank. The page is not even close to behing finished and the inquisition rendered its verdict. Hereby if I understand correctly, if I actually was paid for this I could use the template {{Paid}} for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Pol Fyodor|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}} as highlighted by GSS. But again should I if I DID NOT GET PAID OR ASKED TO DO SO??? Shame on you. Pol Fyodor (talk) 08:48, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
